Highly recommend USA Roofing! We had hail damage on our roof as well as on downspouts and fascia. USA handled everything from the detailed quote to paperwork through the clean up. Communication with this company is great. Their prices are very reasonable and the quality of their products is one of the other reasons we chose them to do the work. Great company!

We had our roof and gutters replaced by USA Roofing. Overall we are pleased with the quality of roof provided by their team. I will say there was challenges along the way but at the end of the day they made them right.

Pros of the job
Quality of information up front and materials used was better than average. They weren't pushy like several of the other contractors I met with prior to selecting USA Roofing. They also worked closely with me during the insurance claim process and made things very smooth on that end. Finally, once they got started, they quickly completed the job and left little to no evidence they were there once they cleaned up the work site.

Cons

Unfortunately they started the job on an afternoon when it rained heavily into the night which caused some water leaks overnight but they were quick to come out first thing the next day to get things dried up and secure. The crew also dropped a hammer through our dining room ceiling during the job but they quickly took ownership of the issue and made the repairs accordingly. Communication at times with the scheduling and completion of the work could have been better is the only other criticism I would have for their mgmt team. I chalk this up to how busy they were at this time as hundreds of homes in the Birmingham area we damaged during this massive hail storm and they had a lot of jobs in flight at the same time.

First time having repairs on our house, so this was a new experience. Overall great company to work with. Repairs took a little longer than we would have liked, but do to large amount of storms in area during April, and a very rainy spring/summer, feel USA Roofing may have just been covered up. Overall very happy and impressed with quality of work. USA Roofing employees were always extremely courteous with us whenever we had any question to ask them. New roof and siding look great! All other repairs were completed to my satisfaction. They went above and beyond to help us through the entire process.

These guys are very professional and do good work. They are technically proficient and easy to work with. Not only are they good roofers, but they also know how to maneuver through the insurance claim process. I highly recommend them for your roofing needs.

I searched this company on Thumbtack and they were fast to give me give me a quote and get started on the job. We decided to use them for our roofing and Siding needs. It was easier to have it all done by the same company.

Had extensive hail damage to my roof that eventually caused damage to the interior of my house. One call to USA Roofing and a short time later I have a beautiful new roof and my interior looks as good as new. I recently had my roof damaged by hail. USA Roofing replaced my roof. They worked well with my insurance company. All USA employees were very knowledgeable and professional. Quality work done in the time frame promised. Clean up was very thorough.

USA roofing was friendly and helpful, and worked with our insurance company. They were done in a timely manner, did excellent work, and came out to make sure we were satisfied. After a long weekend away, I came home to a damp spot on my ceiling, telling me it was time to replace the roof over my head. My background is Architecture and Engineering. Understanding materials comes from a lower degree in Architecture and specifications writing for procurement of material. I also worked as a Project Manager for an Engineering Firm, working in both the office during design and in the field during construction. Important to me were the specifications of the materials to be used, the roofing company being CERTIFIED to install the material for warranty, the overall quality of work, safety - being the number one concern, then cost. Also I needed to make sure the company I awarded the contract to were bonded and insured. Coming from by background, I picked four local roofing companies in the Birmingham area that interested me after I did research on the internet. I invited these companies to visit my home and take a look at the project and to provide me a bid. I strongly recommend getting at least four bids. My highest bid was about 30% higher than my lowest bid. As a side note, most roofing companies use satellite information and they don’t have to climb onto and measure your roof. This might be a reason for the 30% delta in cost. In evaluating your bids, compare apples with apples. Sometimes this is difficult, one company will include up to three pieces of replacement plywood within the cost while other companies will charge a price for each piece of replacement plywood. I would also recommend that you stay away from those roofing companies that contact you my social media, knock on your door, or call you on your phone. When talking to the companies, let it be known that “I can talk to your insurance company for you” is a red flag. Also, let the companies know that you are getting bids to keep them honest.

After my review of the four proposals and some follow up questions with some of the companies, my decision was to award the roofing contract to USA Roofing in Trussville, AL (205-655-7663). USA Roofing provided me a prompt estimate, which was honored at the end of the project. They are a certified roofing company by CertainTeed Roofing, the manufacturer of the shingles used on my roof. The overall quality of the roof is exceptional; I’ve already had a neighbor ask who I used. USA Roofing quoted me a two day time period to remove and replace the roof, they did it in 1 ½ days. More important to me as I “supervised” the workers on my roof, they were always tied off for safety. The crew did little talking and broke one time for lunch as a group. The clean up was excellent; as I walked around the home after their clean up, I only found 3 roofing nails. While their truck developed an oil leak, the promptly told me of the leak and they cleaned up the leak to a point you don’t know that there was a leak on the driveway. They took the time to install gutter spreaders to keep the gutters from collapsing while running up and down the ladder that were against the gutters. Small tree branches were removed to protect the new roofing material. USA Roofing also replaced the attic power vents, the boots around all the vent pipes. They painted the boots and vents above the roof line with paint matching the roof color.

After completion of the job, there was a walk down to verify that everything was completed. In less than two weeks, I had the warranty registration paperwork from both USA Rooming and CertainTeed.

I’m pleased with the roof, no leaks what so ever after two months of rain and a little snow. I would highly recommend USA Roofing in Trussville, AL at 205-655-7663.
