My mother in law has a tree pulling down her power line from pole and away from house. She called to have the branches cut away from power line, so before i climb up there to do this for her I'm a risk taker. Account name under Mary J Roberts 1330 Pine st. Such a scam! They don't just charge for what you use but they charge to "deliver" electricity to your home! What a bunch of BS... I'll be switching VERY soon!!

Was a customer for a long time. Didn't do a price comparison. Ouch! Not only is our new company cheaper, but they actually offer free energy each month after I recommended them to 15 of my friends. I signed up for autopay and noticed that my billing date slowly moved up during the year I had this service, until it got to the point they were trying to bill me twice in the same month. I called costomer service thinking it would be an easy fix to change my due date by a few days so that this double billing during a month could be avoided. Instead, I got chided for "not understanding how autopay works", by the service rep and subsequently by his supervisor! They never even offered me the option of changing my due date! I just want to point out that I make well above the mean income for my area and I am college educated, and this problem of trying to bill me twice in the same month has only recently become an issue, otherwise I have been a timely customer. I cannot imagine how they must treat customers that are actually needy.

it was good at first

I have been a txu customer for one year now and these last few months have been confusing. My bills werr outrageously higher, at first I only paid 125 then 176 now my current billis 249.27 when I asked why they said my kwh had gone up due to a change in plan bc the plan i was on would no longer be offered. When discussing the plans on my bill it says 0.0970000 as kwh bit talking to a supervisor he said its actually 9.7 it may read. 97 but its 9.7 then the bill they sent me has last months bill as 343 dollars which my last months bill was only 172 it seems a bit shady and falsifying documentation im switching to another company was great for the first 6 months now its just outrageous
