As hard of a decision it is to have an abortion, staff was rude the SECOND I walked in the door, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL made me feel very unwelcomed, like I was a piece of crap for getting pregnant and not having a baby, and definitely did NOT live up to their promise "" we will make you as comfortable as possible during this hard time "". While having an ultrasound two staff members were gossiping to one another about the office manager, the one doing my ultrasound wasn't even paying attention to me, just busy gossiping and using profound language. Not ONE staff member made me feel comfortable at all, I felt as though they hired EVERYONE that is employed there off the street with no experience or credentials. After hours of waiting in the waiting room, and being treated like I was a prisoner I was so worked up, the second I walked into the room for the procedure and looked around the room around me ( which looks like a dungeon ) that was the last straw for me. I could talk and complain forever but It would never compare to how I felt that day, got my refund, (which they shorted me over a hundred dollars and left). PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS AND IF YOU MUST GET AN ABORTION DO NOT GO HERE! I RECOMMEND- PLANNED PARENTHOOD NASHVILLE HEALTH CENTER ON D.B DR. TODD JR BLVD ! THEY ARE AMAZING, AND CARE ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS!

The staff was helpful and knowledgeable during a very difficult time.
The only thing I have to complain about is the over bearing ""Christians"" outside of the building trying to stop you from making a decision that is difficult. It felt like they would bomb the building if they had the chance.
Once inside the clinic, yes, it is crowded. And yes, you feel like a piece of trash for what you're about to do. However for some of us, it's the best choice available because of circumstances.
Once the first day was over, I went back for a check up and everything was fine. That was the most relieving day of my life... no lines, no extra charges, and the feeling of relief that my health was fine.
Overall, I give the clinic a good rating because I was handled with care (despite the crowded waiting room). I know the staff can't legally do anything about the protesters outside, but it would feel so much better if they had not been there to antagonize our freedom of choice.

I went to the women's center about three months ago. It was crowded and the place made me very uncomfortable. the counselor was not very helpful and failed to warn me about all the side effects. I continued to bl**d for days after the surgery and had to call in to work and eventually go to the hospital. As a result, i went through a huge ordeal and what i thought would be quick and private became something long and drawn out that i couldn't hide from my family and friends. i do not recommend this place.

I wouldn't listen to the person who complained about not being put to sleep. There's no such service. The sedation is just to relax you, your body, and make the process easier. I would bet money that they have never even been through the doors, but are just trying to scare people away from a service they don't believe in.
The doctors, nurses, and staff are extremely professional. I went in for a surgical and after examination was advised by the my physician to try another method because the surgical process would be too difficult for me. The alternative worked and while difficult, was an easier, more natural process than I expected.
Everyone was friendly, kind, and worked to explain the options and process as often and as simply as possible. My actual procedure cost less than what I had planned for (and already paid), and I ended up donating the difference because they were so helpful and I knew that another young women might find herself in a position to need it.
The one drawback was not the fault of the Women's Center, but simply a byproduct of the situation so many women find themselves in. It was quite crowded out of necessity, and though the staff did their best to move us from waiting room, to exam rooms, to recovery, etc. in an efficient manner, it was impossible to make it more personal. In some ways it was best, in others it was tough. But it's all in an effort to service the women that they do. And they have amazing hearts to be able to do it in such a calm and objective way every day.
I appreciate them being there for me in a very difficult time. My support goes to them 100%.

I don't know what the previous person was talking about. This was not a pleasant decision to have to make but this office made me feel comfortable and completely safe. The doctor was completely professional and the medication given was great. I had the sedation for my procedure and it worked perfectly. I was never told that I would be completely asleep. It was ""conscious"" sedation and I was never promised anything more. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

I WENT TO HAVE SURGICAL ABORTION AND PAID 600 TO BE PUT TO SLEEP/PROCEDURE. I WAS AWAKE THE ENTIRE TIME AND I TRIED TO TELL DOCTOR I COULD FEEL EVERYTHING HE WAS DOING AND HE TOLD ME TO SHUT UP AND LAY BACK. THE DOCTOR DID NOT REMOVE ALL PARTICLES OF THE FETUS AND I HAVE TO HAVE THE SURGERY ALL OVER AGAIN BECAUSE HE LEFT HALF OF THE DEAD BABY INSIDE OF ME!!!!!! DOCTORS SAY HE DAMAGED MY UTERUS AND I MAY NOT BE ABLE TO HAVE KIDS BECAUSE OF THIS FACILITY!!!!! DO NOT GO THERE!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
IF THIS IS THE DECISION YOU WANT TO MAKE, TRY ANOTHER CLINIC IN NASHVILLE. ANY ONE BUT THIS ONE!!!!!!!
ITS A DEATH TRAP!!!!!!
