Caning,(including hand cane, blind hole, and specialty patterns), pressed cane, Rush, Reed, Splint, Shaker Tape, Danish Cord and Wicker Repair. We are conveniently located in New Hampshire and service clients in Massachusetts also. Several years of experience and hundreds of satisfied customers gave us an unprecedented place in the furniture, antique, and upholstery restoration industry. All repairs and renovations are done by hand on our premises using only top quality materials. We are committed to recondition furniture that will be handed down from generation to generation. Along with our service for your convenience we do offer pickup and delivery in the New Hampshire and Massachusetts area. The Caning Corner has a specialist that can hand-weave cane into your piece and stain it to match.

The Caning Corner has a specialist that can hand-weave cane into your piece and stain it to match any other existing pieces or color scheme.

  • Hand and French caning
  • Pressed caning-cane webbing or pressed cane is used to reseat chairs
  • Fiber rush is a man-made twisted paper material that looks and is actually woven all around the seat in method that takes it to the middle of seat.
  • Genuine rush -is a natural hand-twisted material with same of weaving used as fiber rush.
  • Splint is obtained from native ash and hickory and from tropical palm trees.
  • Shaker tape is made of 100% cotton webbing. It is used to weave chair seats, foot stools, and as straps for many tote style baskets.
  • Danish cord - the cord is made from specially treated paper, firmly twisted into a 3-ply strand
