Techs In A Sec
I own a small business and we dont have the budget for dedicated IT staff. When we first started out I had to use two separate companies for technical services. DTS Computers inc for network, server and voip related issues and GeekSquad for office printing and workstation issues. It was far from ideal. Geek Squad really couldnt handle the hard technical issues and DTS Computers were way to expensive to use for anything besides network and server support. About 3 months ago we switched web hosting providers and the friendly support staff there recommended Techs In a Sec. It was a match made in heaven. They have flexible billing options and top notch field engineers. I would recommend them again in a heartbeat.
These are good people to work with. As a Tax professional when my equipment goes down I need a quick response to get it working again. This is a busy time for us so when our network went down due to failed equipment it was critical to get it working again as soon as possible. Techs in a sec sent a technician to our office that was able to survey the situation and was able to determine we had some equipment failure from a recent storm we had. They quickly replaced the network devices that failed and we were operational again instantly. I would highly recommend them.
I have to agree with the last poster that they seem to be a well organized operation. I started using them for our branch offices recently and they made the process quite simple with fast results. Before i had to call technicians in each area and search the web looking for them. Now I simply just email my request and they send a tech. It saves me time to do the more important work in my job.
Perfect match for our IT Support needs. We used another company in the past but he was a one man shop and always took days to service us. Over the holiday week we gave up as he couldnt be reached again. We found TECHS IN A SEC which was open and came the same day. They sent a nice guy named Charlie who took care of our needs and had us up and running quickly again. No more one man shops for us. We will continue using techs in a sec going forward and stay with a professional company.
One day I came home and the computer would not power on. Then I came on YP.com and typed computer repair and found these guys. There was NO WAY I was going to take my computer to geek squad. Anyways, I called Techs In a Sec and the next day they told me what the problem was and that they could fix it. They fixed my computer in record time and the cost was super reasonable. Plus I didn't lose and data.
As a business owner its difficult to juggle so many things. I use to try and maintain my computers myself but dont have the time anymore. I called them to come out to take a look at a pc that had some viruses on it. They were able to clean it up rather quickly and then offered to optimize my other computers. I didnt realize how much better the performance could be until the tech finished. Its slowed down slowly over time and I just thought they were old but nope. They just needed a tune up.
Tech arrived 10 minutess late but he quickly made up for it by fixing my problems in a quick manner. I had just moved and didnt know how to reconnect all my tech toys. The technician sent was able to figure out my wiring mess and get everything connected. I was very happy with the results and I would definitely call them again in the future if I need help.
I have to agree with the others these other 5 star reviews sound really fake LOL.
My experience with Techs was awful they overcharged me by $100 and the tech took a very long time to remove the virus. I later found out a local pc shop would have done the virus removal for more than 1/2 the price....while speaking to the tech they sent out he revealed that he was a contractor as all the Techs they send are and wasn't paid very well or on time by Tek in a secs . I will NEVER use this company again as they OVERCHARGED me and are a big impersonal 1 800 company that doesn't treat their workers or customers with respect. From now on I'll be using my local PC shop not these rip off artists
When called to service my machine, the tech arrive 45 minutes late. My issue was simple, just install my printer. The installer took 3.5 hours to install it, when I had the drivers DVD available. This review is gettings 2 stars only because the tech was able to complete the printer installation... but I wouldn't recomend this company to any of my peers.
Great resource for my company. I manage several locations around the US and in the past I would have to search for technicians everyday in order to have my sites covered when they have problems. Now I just call Techs in a Sec and they handle everything. I only need to deal with ONE company. My job became much easier thanks to their organization and nationwide support team.
