In 2000, he opened his own business - A 2 Z Lock and Key, which remains in operation to service the traditional lock and key mechanisms that are still currently found on most residential homes and commercial buildings. Four years later, when technology began to play a major role in the world of automotive locksmithing, Cory launched a second company - Stellar Keys and Remotes, which exclusively services the newer and higher-end vehicles that standard locksmithing methods are unable to support. Our Services: At Stellar Keys and Remotes, our experts can unlock your vehicle, replace your lost/broken key, replace your key fob/batteries, program a replacement key/fob, or program a spare. We provide same day, on location service anywhere in or around the Twin Cities metro. We also offer emergency onsite services in less than one hour. No matter where you’re located - Stellar can easily get a spare key to you in short order. If you mail us an original transponder key, we’ll cut and program a copy of the key and overnight both keys back to you. If a lost or broken transponder/chip key has you stranded in an out-of-town location (like South Dakota or Africa, for example), we can help you avoid ruining your whole trip by making a key without a key, and sending it to you via overnight mail. The process is relatively simple if we have the VIN number.
