X-rays
Oral Cancer Screening
Oral cancer affects thousands of Americans yearly. We use the latest technology to detect changes in oral tissue consistencies and/or lesions. A specialized light is shined into the mouth to detect unhealthy tissue. Healthy tissue looks lighter under the light while spots of bad tissue appear dark. With early detection, cancer may be caught before it has time to spread, potentially saving lives.

Teeth Cleaning
For some people, even regular dental cleanings are a source of anxiety. Sedation can be used in any situation to help you relax and feel more comfortable. Talk to us about your fears and concerns and we’ll do our best to make it a positive experience.
Space Maintainers
A baby tooth that is knocked out before it is ready to be shed naturally can cause damage to the permanent tooth beneath it if it is replaced afterwards. In this case the tooth will remain out of the mouth and a space maintainer may be used to hold the place for the permanent tooth to come in later.

Fillings
Resin Composite
Root canals. The pulp (soft tissue, blood vessels, and nerves) inside a tooth can become infected, resulting in the need for a root canal. The procedure involves removing the pulp and replacing it with composite resin to remove the infection and prevent reinfection. Root canals can also be done proactively to prevent an infection from developing.
Crowns
Save your tooth. In many cases getting immediate care can save a tooth that would otherwise be lost. A dislodged tooth can often be put back in place if it is done so in a timely manner with the help of a dentist. A cracked or broken tooth may be saved if it is treated or covered with a crown right away.
Bridges
Bridges. A dental bridge replaces one or more adjacent teeth. It consists of two crowns placed over the healthy teeth on either side of the gap with one or more artificial teeth (pontics) suspended between them.

Frenectomy. The frenulum is the connective tissue that attaches your lips to your gums and your tongue to the bottom of your mouth. In some cases this tissue is too tight, causing a gap to form between your front teeth. It can also affect dentures, causing them to slip out of place. A frenectomy is a surgical procedure that loosens or removes this piece of tissue to allow free movement of the tongue and lips.

Osseous Surgery
Osseous (flap) surgery. In some cases it is necessary to gain full access to the teeth below the gums. Osseous surgery allows the dentist to remove plaque and calculus from the entire tooth and to reestablish the parabolic bony architecture that is lost from advanced gum disease.
Tooth Extractions
Tooth extraction. Tooth extraction is not always considered to be oral surgery. But when a wisdom tooth is impacted or a tooth is difficult to remove, it may require surgery.
Bone Grafting
If you have one or more missing or damaged teeth that need to be replaced, you may be a good candidate for dental implants. The key to dental implant readiness is having sufficient bone structure in your jaw to support it. When a tooth has been missing for a long time the bone and other support structures for that tooth will weaken and eventually dissolve, making implant placement risky. But a bone grafting procedure can be done to prepare the jaw and encourage the bone to regenerate. Once this process is complete and successful, you will be ready to receive an implant.
