Overall

I have trained under Master Shauer for many years. If you are looking a school to train in kung-fu,I highly recommend the Shaolin Wudang Association. It is known as one of the best schools in the US. I have trained in different schools in the past and I have to say the previous schools are not on the same level in terms of integrity, philosophy, patience and skill level than that of Master Schauer. You will not be disappointed in visiting and training at this school.

Nothing like this master instructor anywhere

There are no words to describe what an amazing human being and teacher Master Schauer is. You have to train with him to see. I trained with him for about a year and a half before I sadly had to leave his school to move to San Diego. I have not been able to find any school within 100 miles of San Diego to even compare. I went to one school and they told me that in their school my training was equivalent to a 5th degree black belt. Master Schauer doesn't believe in competition or ego at all. There are no belts, no competitions and no teaching of his training outside of his school. Master Schauer practices what he preaches: Zen and Tao.
