My van was stuck in my garage and wouldn't start. George from Shaners came out in 1/2 hour and towed it to the repair shop. He went out of his way to carefully load my van without dragging on the garage floor. I would highly recommend using Shaners. Jim

I will not be using this tow company in the future nor will I recommend them to family and friends...we paid 185 for release of our truck which they had for under 12 hours...they couldn't help us load our 3 wheeled truck onto the car trailer due to liability issues...however they call another tow company to do it to which it costed another 40 dollars...but when we spoke to the receptionist at shaners befor coming to pick up the truck she said that they would be able to help us with the loading...would've been nice to know that it was going to cost us extra...lowsy service.

Never to use this rip off joint. My girlfriend used them for a tow when her car stopped on her. She used our roadside assistance that we have with our mobile phone provider. She was only 4.5 miles from our home. The service covers the hookup fee and up to the first 3 miles. When she came home she told me they charged her $30.00?! I called them and asked why they charged her the amount that she paid. Susan the dispatcher said they had overcharged and she was due a refund and they would call me back the next day. The day goes on and no call,so i called them again. Susan answers again and said "Oh they didn't call you?" That i would have to call and speak to Heather Ferguson. I called and the following day and she was out to lunch. So they took my information and she would call me back. Still no callback, so i decided to go into there location. When a young lady who asked me if she could help me told her i was there,she intially told her to tell me she would call me back. The young lady told her i was there. Heather then proceeded to give me a runaround on why she had not returned my call. Then when it came time to my refund she told me something i have never heard when receiving a tow. Instead of charging me for the 1.5 mile the coverage did not cover,they charged me the miles the driver had to come to pick up the car. I told her i have never heard of anything of that nature in my life. She told me that was in the contract with my provider. So if the driver had to drive 40 miles to get to the car, i would have been charged for the 40 miles he had to drive. I called my service provider and they assured me that is not the case. I would advise anyone that needs a tow look around before dealing with this rip off spot if possible. I only gave it one star because it would not allow me to give it no stars or a big thumbs down.
