Redwood Towing SVC & Repair

Never deal with them! Agreed on towing for my 53 footer trailer (need to tow it for about 10 miles on smaller truck due to road restriction in Eureka,CA area) They say that will do that for me and will be able to take a payment via cash/ credit card/ T-check or com-check but when they did they job they say that will only take cash. My driver don`t have any cash on him so Redwood Tow driver just turn over and RUN AWAY WITH MY TRAILER! When i call them back they state that my bill will be $100 more... I told this guys that i will call police if they don`t give me my trailer back (AGAIN - I'M NOT REFUSING TO PAY !!! I keep asking them to take my payment !!!) . They told me if i call police they will only give me my trailer next day and charge me $1000 for storage fee. I don't have a time for all that BS and just pay them $375 instead of $200 because i where late on my delivery appointment. And guess what? Yes they take a T-Check payment ! Really bad company! Stay away!

I was really in a bind on Mothers day (08) when the leafspring mount on my prowler travel trailer broke off. I was stranden along hwy 101 just out of Garberville. The road service I have through camping world couldn't find anyone to help me due to the nature of the problem and it was a holiday and everything was closed. I was told I would have to wait until the next day when more shops were open. A ranger stopped to see if we needed help and contacted a tow service who he new personally, (Redwood Towing service). When the owner of the shop came out to see what the problem was he said it didn't look promising that we would be back on the road today. To my surprise he got my trailer axle chained on strait and followed me back to his shop where he welded the broken parts back on and replaced my trailer tire. I was able to get my trailer home safely which was a huge relief since Garberville is about six hours from my home. This shop went way beyond the call to see me through my problem. It was on Mothers day also. Redwood towing is number one in my book. I would recomend this shop to anyone who needs help.
