Police Department - City of Columbus

I got a ticket in the mail but it was very obvious from the pictures that I did not run a red light. I had my turn signal on to turn right and had not even pasted the red light. Still had to pay 95.00 dollars even though it was very clear I did nothing wrong. Someone is supposed to review the camera pics. but reviewer must be blind. I advised them of the problem but they still cashed the check. This is just a money game and is nothing short of harassment. Always request a hearing. You may have even missed something. If they want to waste your time and use your money, make them waste their time. A camera placed at a right turn on red, just plan stupid. Oh and don\u2019t forget, you still have to pay the fine, then waste your time at a hearing that is scheduled approx. a month later! This way they can use your money, and then hope you forget to show up! Very nice Columbus!!! Just what we all need, another rip off!
