Paulee Body Shop Div-Kenduco

Provided by CitysearchThis is an excellent body shop - you can tell from the minute you walk in that they do good work on all of their vehicles. They did a great job fixing my Subaru. They seemed both honest and straightforward, and I appreciated how transparent they were about exactly how much the parts and labor would cost. Very satisfied with the repairs and will keep them in mind should i need use them once more.

Provided by CitysearchAt first I was reluctant to have my car repaired by this bodyshop. I ALMOST allowed myself to be swayed by the reviews, but seeing they are certified by BMW USA and my dealer I went ahead and dropped my car off. i was told it would take about 2 weeks for repairs and contrary to what I have read, I got it back in that time. Car looks great!!!! No problems for me. Thank you for your great help Paulees! Entrusted them with the job and they got it done.

Provided by CitysearchCustomer service is ok...the girls in the front are somewhat welcoming...They kept my car for about a week and a half and looks brillant. There was a slight increase in the orignal estimate but was given the heads up beforehand and no surprises....Hope I don't have a reason to return but if I do...I would go back.

Provided by CitysearchWhen I first entered the office was very chic and clean. Stark difference from previous repair shops i been to. Clean not dirty. Personable staff for the most part and the guy who handled my file was very patient in going through every detail done to my C350. My dealership recommended them to me as their choice body shop and when i got my car back I understand why.

Provided by CitysearchI was hit from behind in my barely two week old M6 and was frustrated with the whole situation of the young kid who hit my car and insisted i take my car here and have him pay for the repairs.
Once I got my car back I was very pleased with the work they did on it. The service writer who looked at my car assured me the work would be done to BMW requirements. They did just that and if I ever need work done on my car again, which I hope I dont, but if so I would take it to them again.

Provided by CitysearchIncompetent and questionable workmenship at best, then you should go to Paulee. If you want to save yourself time and money, then there are many body shops in Los Angeles that will welcome your business.

Provided by CitysearchI got my car reparied their spent $2800! they did a very POOR JOB ON THE PAINT JOB, now i have a yellow SPOTS ALL OVER THE CAR and they refuse to FIX IT.
I spoke to Rodney the manager, and he says ""I can't help you"".....
The manager can't help repair their mistake, but maybe i can help consumers not make the mistake of using these guys.
Never mind the terrible customer service, THE QUALITY OF WORK THEY DO IT POOR!!!
Under their so called ""new owners"" Paule Body is now a Chup shop scammer opperation, All the positive reviews you see on here are all fake. Good luck,
Search for a corporate type body shop, you'll get better, honest, service there.

I normaly don't write reviews....however when I view these comments about paulee body shop, I felt it was neccessary to write about my experience. I was in a major accident back in may of 2009. I was reffered to paulee body shop by my MBZ dealer. I got my car back after 6 weeks and I have to say they did an amazing job. My car looks and drives like new. Now I don't know anything about the body shop repair...but I can say I found out that paulee has been there for almost ""60"" years, and they are the factory authorized MBZ body shop as well as prefferd shop of my MBZ dealer...so, they must be doing something right!!!

Provided by CitysearchThe may do good work, that remains to be seen, if i ever get my car back. I call when my car is promised and it keeps getting pushed off a week. Insurance has stopped paying for a rental and i am stuck with nothing. They build new cars twice as fast as minor damage repairs at this shop. Avoid.

Provided by Citysearchlooks like the positive comments were all written by the same person ! most likely the shop employees themselves !

Provided by CitysearchI wanted to respond to the negative comments left here regarding Paulee Body Shop. In the 50-something years this shop has been around--my family and I have (unfortunately) used them a lot. There seems to be a few things people don't understand about the process of fixing a car. My brother explained it to me--in a simple way: It will not take one day to fix a car and if it does then you will get crappy work done. I personally have taken my car there in the past year after a small accident and have no regrets doing so. I will admit that my car took a long time but the insurance company I used took it's time and now they are no longer my insurance company. Like many people, I love my car and this shop made my Mercedes more beautiful than before. We have always been treated professionally and would recommend this shop to everyone.

Provided by CitysearchI would not recommend them if my life depended on it. Their turn-around is the worst in the business. They are very greedy and they take on more work than they can sufficently handle. If you are not a VIP you won't see your car for months...even if you take it in for minor work. TWO MONTHS minimum!! Can you believe it? If you are still making payments on your car, forget Paulee completely...out of the question. Put it this way, I dropped my car off in mid March and I still don't have it back after 8 weeks!!!

Provided by CitysearchAfter a fender-bender placed me in the hands of another insurer, I went to Paulee Body Shop simply to take advantage of the insurer's guaranteed service, and I was pleasantly surprised. Paulee Body Shop was the most professional body shop I've ever been to, and in addition to returning my car a day earlier than promised, they did excellent work. They also communicated directly with the insurer on my behalf and arranged the rental car for me to pick up and drop off at their shop. Professional, easy, and pain-free.

Provided by Citysearchi was just recommended by by rep at mercedes to take my car there for some minor things that i want to have worked on.
i came across your review and it changed my whole opinion about wanting to even go and talk to the guy whose name i was given. i was told to ask for Ray and that they do great work there and mercedes uses them blah blah blah.
based on your review however, i am not going to use them at all. i won't even give them a chance to mess my car up.
Thank you for writing your review or i might be where you were in november, December and january. I will not go.
Thanks again!

Provided by CitysearchI used Paulee Body Shop about two years ago for a minor scratch on my rear bumper when I found out that Beverly Hills Mercedes Benz sends the majority of their work to Paulee's. The work done at that time was fast and good.
Last October, I was in a minor fender bender. I needed my front bumper and grill replaced as well as a few things internally fix/replaced (about $6k in damages). When I dropped the car off on Nov 2, their service manager quoted 3weeks. He also said- With Thanksgiving coming up, your car will be completed no later than Dec. 1.
When I called to check on my car two weeks later (my insurance adjuster called earlier that day and recommended that I should ""touch base"" and now I know why!), I was told my car was not being serviced at their shop and they had no record of my car. ??!!
I asked them to double check and an hour later, the recpt. called to tell me that the car was in the back lot and they would START work on it that day. TWO WEEKS, just starting?!
After countless calls from them every few days promising me that my car would be ready ""next week"" week after week, they finally agreed to loaning me a rental car on Dec 20, four weeks after my supposed completion date, and with another promise that the car would be finished ""No later than January 5""
On January 8th, I received a call again stating that my car would be ready the next day. Finally! When I went to the shop the next morning, guess what they told me? Yep.. my car would be ready ""in about a week.""
I was finally able to pick up my car on January 24th, two days ago. I've driven the car for a total of 8 miles since I've picked it up and guess what? The ""Check Engine Electronics"" light is blinking and every time I step on the gas pedal, my car shakes. A
