Amenities
What is a Laborist Northeast OB/GYN functions as a group practice. We have five locations: Alamo Heights, Boerne, Mission Trail, Schertz, and Stone Oak. Most physicians see patients at multiple locations, please feel free to visit our other locations. The physicians rotate call daily to provide 24/7 in-house coverage on the Labor and Delivery floor at North Central Baptist Hospital. This provides our patients with the comfort of knowing there is a physician ready to see you 24 hours a day in the event of a true obstetrical emergency. We utilize a "Laborist" model to ensure you are safe and well-taken care of during labor. This also means your physician may not be on-call when you are in labor. We truly wish we could be present for the delivery of every single one of our patients. We have found this is the best way to deliver quality obstetrical care to our patients.

Overall

I have been a patient of Dr.Salder for 15yrs , I had hysterectomy a year ago and nothing but bacteria infection since. Instead of finding problem I have been on antibiotics for a year now . I'm getting a second opinion instead of being professional I was released as a patient! Keep in mind I had a CT scan of my pevic and abdomen February 26,2016 and still not a word from my Dr ...... Now whom is Dr.Doe same office . I go to get my medical records but they won't realse them ......instead release me as a patient.... BTW verbally told me my ct scan won't be realsed because it wasn't read yet. Scary situation and as a woman/female I have never felt more disrespected and treated so in compassionate its OK their not invincible..

Overall
Very unethical doctor

Dr. Akright prescribed female hormone to my son because he wanted to be a girl. My son was 24 when he found this doctor. She willingly gave my son these meds without finding out anything about his life, whether this decision was right for him or not. My son had a very normal life, but had a bad break up with a girl about 2 years ago, from then he started making online characters he was using female. He cannot get a job or hold one down because of anxiety and because of a birth injury to his arm... so he has no income and no medical insurance, so this doctor took him in and took his school money to pay for appointments and meds. If this doctor would have done a psych eval she would have learned he needed psychiatric help, not female hormone. He spends his whole day sleeping and he is up all night playing WOW. The only place he lives as a girl is online. Once he started growing boobs is when we found out what he was doing and by then he was too afraid to come out of his room without his arms around his chest.

My son is currently admitted to a psychiatric hospital and under suicide watch thanks to all this.

Find a doctor that cares more about the person than the buck.
