This firm quoted me on some work and I agreed to quote. But when it came time to actually schedule the work they kept stalling. After a while they just stopped returning my calls at all. Two months and dozens of calls later, I finally gave up and hired someone else (for less money, in fact). Incredibly, even as they were stonewalling me and refusing to do the job THEY had quoted me on, they were advertising in the paper for more business! If they had no intention of doing the work, why did they quote me in the first place? And why didn't they just man up and tell me they weren't going to do the job, instead of ignoring me and failing to return calls until I went away (wasting 2 months of my time in the process)? What do they do, agree to lots of jobs and then just pick and choose which ones they want to actually show up for? My advice would be to stay clear of Mr. JP.
