Their customer service is really terrible and i found them dishonest as well. As a new customer I called them last week to learn about their service, but I didn't confirm the service contract, and made an schedule with a technician to come to my home to check the oil tank on Saturday. The technician asked me to sign a paper by telling me that this paper confirms that he came in and checked the oil tank and boiler. So i trusted him and signed the paper. I requested the technician to have Morania call me so that i could confirm what kind of service i'm gonna take and he confirmed me that someone will call you shortly before we fill out the oil tank.I was waiting for their call, but i was surprised when i saw a bill(yellow receipt) in my letter box after i came back home from work on Monday that 165 gallons have been filled up @3.79/gallon, whereas i was told 2.69/gal on the initial phone conversation. So i called the company (Morania) and a customer representative (named Dianne) told me that you already signed the service contract for 1 year and she was also rude with me over the phone. So i talked to her supervisor and i also found him very rude. He didn't listened to me, but keep telling me that you signed the service contract and you cannot change the plan, nor cancel the contract for next 1 year. It was shocking for me, because i was not aware that the paper i signed with the technician was 1 year service contract with automated delivery schedule. It was my mistake that i trusted them instead of going over the paper. However, it is not fair that they tactfully got the paper signed from me and i've no options now to take different plan, nor cancel the contract for one year w/o penalty($900+), even though i called them in two days. I'm very unhappy with them and would never recommend Morania Energy.

Good service. My transformer shorted and their service guy was in the neighborhood and replaced the defective part, otherwise I would not have heat that night.

My only concern Morania is not adjusting the delivery price when the oil goes down.



Just as they promised-Great

I just changed my service to them. I had an old boiler and they told me I should get a new more efficient one. I did and the boiler is so efficient and uses much less oil. Plus when they installed it they were so neat and clean. They were great and they really know what they are talking about. Thanks again.



customer service/emerency service

I have to respond to that last rating. I have been with Morania oil for 7 years and feel that I have always received Excellent service in Cusotmer Service and Emergency Service. The Customer Service department is always polite and formative and the Service Men have always done a excellent service with fixing my boiler. This company is always there for me so I give this company thumbs up!



Customer Service

Their customer service is terrible - they arrive later than promised all the time. If you don't purchase a new burner from them, they will drop your service at the dime of a hat - then they don't want your business. The customer service is so bad because they have limited people working for them.
