Monterey Garage Towing & Storage

My wife got a screw in her tire on the morning 09/22/15 resulting in a flat tire. I told her to call AAA have the flat replaced with spare, put the tire in back of vehicle and drive over to the guys at Newton Bros to have fixed. Instead, tire expert Steven with Monterey Garage arrived and told my wife the tire was fine. He grabbed some pliers, pulled out the screw and filled with air. Not far down the road the tire pressure sensor alarmed as she arrived at work. Within an hour or so the tire was completely flat. Now she had to call AAA again wasting TWO of our AAA calls for the year so that Steven could come to her job and do exactly what she had asked of him the first time.

I reached out to the manager and left voicemails 2 days in a row on ext 6 (says transferring to ext 101) and never received a call back. So frustrated with this service. I can't help feel like we were scammed to drum up business. I reported this experience to AAA.


UPDATE ***

Shawn reached out to me a week later. Was very apologetic and only turned in one of the two AAA service calls. Really happy he recognized the issue and corrected accordingly. This is a stand up business that made a mistake.

My mother called me at 5:20 in the morning to sayshe drove her car onto the front lawn as she was trying to back out of her garage. I live 3 hours away so I got online and called this company and explained the problem to them. They told me they would be at her place within 20 minutes and it would cost $100. He told me up front that if it was a harder job to get her car out, like she drove over big rocks or into a tree it would cost more and he would call me first. Great job and so glad I found them on the computer and called them to help my mom out!

Monterey Garage helped me with my car that would not start this morning. Danny was quickly at my house and tried to help me figure out why it would not start. After he tried a couple of things, he took it to my auto repair shop.



Danny was very nice and helpful. I would recommend anyone on the peninsula use their service.
