Michael Anthony Contracting

As a Landscape Architect I need a person that can be attentive to clients needs, pays close attention to detail, and has a crew that works clean, neat and professional. Mike exceeds all of these! I have worked with Mike for over 7 years on numerous projects and all of them exceed my expectations. I know that clients can feel comfortable and can trust that Michael Anthony Contracting will do the right job for them.

With the recent events of Hurricane Sandy, Mike and his crews have been working hard to follow through with people and aiding them in rebuilding their homes. I am greatful to have known Mike through the years and i know that his honesty and integrity will put people at ease as they know they can trust in him to help reconstruct thier homes and get their lives back in place. Thanks Mike for all your help and continued diligence with our clents and friends who have used you over the years.

Nothing beats this company. They made me feel like a million bucks as a customer even though I didn't have much to spend. My bathroom and my patio came out amazing. They don't cut corners, theur workers are polite and trustworthy and the quality of the work is unbeatable. I wouldn't use any other company!

We are using Michael Anthony Contracting to build a custom home and we have had some issues. How he addresses them remains to be seen.

Mike built our addition that nearly doubled the living space of our home. He did this while we remained in the house and he and his crew had to deal with our 13 year old dog. The work that Mike performed was A+ and he was flexible in taking recommendation. He also gave recommendation on changes to the original plans that really enhanced the finished product. His crew was always on time, very respectful, and clean. It is now over a year and when I am outside and neighbors walk or drive by they still mention how great the house looks.



In the middle of construction, Superstorm Sandy hit and Mike showed up the next day to see if we needed anything from a generator to gasoline. In addition, near the end of the construction, we suffered the loss of a close family member and Mike respected our need for a temporary halt to the construction.



Since completion, we have called Mike back on several occasions to do little odds and ends and he has stopped by no matter how small the job. We have kept in touch with Mike and the relationship grew during the construction into more of a friendship rather than a business association. That is what makes Mike unique, he is looking to build that personal connection with his clients, while also providing a premium quality product.

After our shore home was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy, I called Michael Anthony and he did a walk through and explained what had to be done to make the home livable again. Although the damage was extensive, Michael Anthony and staff carefully replaced the walls, floors, bathroom, closets, siding and deck.The work progressed quickly and our home was restored beautifully. Having had many bad experiences with shore contractors, I found Michael Anthony and his staff are dependable, competent and professional. We would highly recommend him and his company without hesitation. They were the best company to work with and far exceeded our expectations. Our home looks great and we will enjoy the summer..

Michael Anthony Contracting is the only contractor I have ever recommended. After years of hiring one contractor and then never using them again on future projects, I was concerned after using Mike that I would be doing the same. I can honestly say, this was not the case. I initially used Mike for a major whole house renovation and then brought him back to do additional work. Crew showed up when they said they would be there and finished on time. The whole experience was great. I have proudly shown my house to my friends who have had horrible stories and who have wished they could go back and hire Mike. He was really easy to work with and I liked him immediately. Surprisingly I never checked his references. So unlike me but everything turned out better than expected. In the past, I have checked references only to be disappointed.

Can't say enough about mike and his crew. Clean,courteous,timely,informative and knowledgable. After sandy we needed help. Mike did the job at 40 percent less than our other quote and we felt comfortable with him in our home. He worked neatly and was always considerate of our needs and comfort as we lived through the work on our home. He even stayed on the job site personally. After bad experiences in the past we were timid but now

If it wasn't for the expertise and generosity of Mike, I would probably still have a whole in my roof after storm Sandy decided to blow down a tree on my house. Mike and his crew were absolutely great at getting the work done fast and in a professional way. Mike's expertise definitely helped me understand everything that needed to be done and repaired in order to get the job done correctly and efficiently. Mike takes the time to personally speak to you about the job to make sure the job gets done exactly how you would expect it. Mike even took the time to help us handling situations with the insurance company. Great service at the right price!

Michael Anthony Contracting helped put our lives back together. Super storm Sandy really did a number on my home. The damage (roof, exterior, and interior) caused by a tree that fell into my home was overwhelming and required immediate attention. I knew I needed an experienced contractor to help put my home back together, however I was hesitant as I have had many bad experiences with other home projects over the years. I sought help via several contractors and not only were the prices all over the board but I never felt comfortable with anyone I met with. Mike and his crew were recommended to me through a friend and after meeting with him I took a chance. All I can say is wow. Mike and his crew really delivered. They showed up on time and got the work done fast and clean. It was clear that the work crew respected my home and family throughout the project and I felt like my home was their priority. Mike's knowledge also helped uncover a structural issues I never would have considered. He not only explained all issues so that I completely understood what needed to be done, but he then helped find the most cost effective way to find resolution. At this point I would not even consider a future home project without involving Michael Anthony Contracting.

What a great job Mike did contracting and building my house from beginning to end. He handled last minute changes with ease, he had great advice and helped us save money where ever we could. His knowledge for the finish work was worth it alone; the moulding work is stunning! I get complements all the time! Clean neat work, and a respectable crew. He was very professional yet very personable. Very refreshing to work with someone who knows all thre ins and outs of the business. As a matter of fact i'm having him back to put my pool in this spring!

I cant say enough about Michael Anthony and his team. I was desperately calling around trying to find someone to assist with a small project, replacing a rusted support jack in my basement. Numerous people turned me down saying the job was too small, that is until I found Michael Anthony. He not only took time to speak with me in person about my project needs, he provided guidance and education on the work that was to be done. I was so impressed with his crew, they were professional, arrived on time and always left the space tidy.

As new home owner it was great to find someone who was willing to work with me, provide recommendations and never minds answering questions. Since that initial project I have had the pleasure of working with Michael Anthony and his team on few other projects as well: new hard wood flooring installed upstairs, original floors refinished and a few windows replaced throughout the house. It has been refreshing to find someone I can trust to work within a budget, who is upfront and honest about the work required and costs, not to mention the fabulous work they do; I wish you could see my floors!



There is not a project I would consider doing without calling Michael Anthony Contracting.

Michael and his crew did a phenomenal job. They did painting, deck repair and pretty intricate custom molding work for us. He came with high recommendations as a true craftsman and when all is said and done I'd have to say I agree. Aside from being a super nice guy, he came up with some creative solutions we're very happy with. His crew showed up on time (incredible!) and even dealt with our many dogs really well. Plus, they cleaned up all the old lumber-- a real plus!



We've since recommended Mike to 3 of our friends (1 small job and 2 major ones) and all have been very impressed by the quality of his work and his commitment to making them happy. If there was a problem or concern, he fixed it, no questions asked.



We've had more than our share of contractors who half complete a job then disappear for a month, or never show up after the second day. A common story. Mike's crew through, showed up and did what he said they would do, even when I miscalculated sizes of beams and locations of wires. Mike never got uptight about it and just worked around me. For that alone he gets my full recommendation!

Mike and his crew did a fantastic job with painting, fixing our deck with a loose support beam and all around repairs. His specialty though is really creative craftsmanship. He did amazing things with our moulding and had so many ideas for the kitchen we stopped using decorator magazines and just asked his opinion. And bonus...he actually shows up when he says he will...and stayed until the job got done. Hard to come by these days!

listened to our needs, respected our budget, offered creative ideas, helped with planning and budgeting,saved us from fatal mistakes, completed on schedule, great with our kids, courteous clean staff (even brought our pails in from the street lol). great attention to detail! respectful,is now considered a friend of the family. highly recommended, after some bad contractor experiences in the past we will never use anyone else!
