I have been all over the country and the world and have eaten fantastic bbq all over the us and abroad, all bbq is different, each have their own taste and prepared "Their" own special way. I enjoy eating here :) and would recommend this to anyone if your looking for the bbq place that has been there for the long haul and will be here for decades to come, this is the place.

Love their tamale spread. restaurant is kind of small and usually crowded but if your willing to wait it is well worth it.

Overcrowded, people working there had a careless attitude, hard to park. The BQ wasn’t worth the bother.

I am picky about BBQ. For instance I hate Arthur Bryant's in KC. However, I love McClard's twangy BBQ. The servings are generous. I love the twangy sauce. I would highly recommend it.
I recommend you go at an off time because the line gets long and they have very little parking. If you do go when there is a line prepare to dash for a table when customers get up to leave.

I was in Arkansas to help my boyfriend move into his apart. and get all of his registration done at UALR. A couple days later, we headed off to Hot Springs to visit his Uncle James. Well we ate lunch at Mcclard's BBQ and that was all they talked about before we even got to AR. We had moved him to Little Rock from NC. Well I asked Brandon to order for since he was basically raised on it. He jokes about drinkin the FAMOUS sauce from his bottle when he was a baby. But anyway, we get our food and i bite into my sandwich and my tastebuds just went histerical and mouth began watering. When I got back home to the hog capital of NC, I told my parents I would never go back to pork BBQ, it's Beef BBQ from here on out!!! I love it and I can't wait to go back!!!
