Dear Sir/Madam,



On Aripril 30th, 2013 my son and I were returning to Haverhill, Massachusetts from Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, as my son was exiting the Army and was stationed there. About 20 miles into the trip we broke down at a gas station, 3 miles from the McCarthy Auto Group Nissan/Hyundai Dealership in Blue Springs Missouri.



We were fortunate enough that a Nissan (car we were in) Dealership was nearby. I can't thank you people enough for the way we were treated. Sean Althaus understood our plight, took it upon himself to offer to buy us lunch. The mechanic Matt worked tirelessly in order for us to be able to be up and running before the business closed for the day. Within 6 hours we were off and running. But before we left, Sean Althaus gave me his business card and wrote down his personal phone number in case something went wrong with the car, and we needed assistance after your business was closed.



Two days later we finished the 1200+ mile trip, and my sons car was in fine working order. The effort that your staff put forth was above and beyond anything I have ever expected. Sean Althaus, Matt (mechanic), and other members of the staff went out of their way to insure that we were made to feel important, and that they did everything in there power, including test driving the vehicle, to make sure that we were in a vehicle that they felt was safe enough and mechanically sound to put their own family in. I can not thank you enough for the service we got, under the circumstances we were in.

Worst Auto Repair Dealership Experience of My Life....Left Me Broke Down on the Side of the Road..!!

They had my car for three weeks. Kept saying they were waiting for parts and waiting was what I did. I went to pick up my car and they hadn't even test driven it yet. Gave me back my car with the Check Engine Light on and a burning smell coming from under the hood that they said was leaking fluid. They almost ruined my car and I am having to fight them on every step. Diane in repairs cannot be relied upon. She said they fixed my car but wouldn't let me talk to the mechanic. THEY PUT ME DOWN, A WOMAN, AND THAT IS CRIMINAL IN THIS DAY AND AGE. Do not take your car there unless you want to pay $1,900 and get a car back in pieces. Very very very bad place to do business with. DANGER. I broke down 15 minutes after leaving McCarthy repair and they would NOT give me a tow. Their 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty did not last for 12 minutes...!!!!! This was the worst auto experience of my life. They treated me like I was trying to get away with something and they were the ones doing just that. Turns out they didn't have a mechanic certified to work on my car and they are a dealership. This was a horrible and scary experience. They left me on the side of the road on a Friday before the Holiday. I will lobby against these people until they change their policy on how they treat customers and how they handle their business practices of lying to customers. My car was not fixed and I had to pay to have it towed to another mechanic. After having my car almost a month, they left me on the side of the freeway. What kind of people do this?
