Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting
|Mon - Fri:|
We recently took my granddaughters white Toyota (2011 Corolla with much of the white paint flaking off - apparently a not uncommon problem with this color and this year!!) into Maaco in Viera. My granddaughter wanted the car painted black instead of white. Joe explained all of the considerations when changing the color of a car, including reporting the change to DMV, etc. We decided to go with the black, and the car is absolutely beautiful! It looks like a new car, the paint job is that good! Joe was wonderful, the car was ready when promised, and it is the best Christmas gift EVER for my granddaughter!! Thanks Joe and team at Maaco Viera!
I met with Miguel from MAACO who professionally explained what they were proposing to do to repair my vehicle and at what price. The price of the repair and paint was reasonable so I authorized the work. When I picked up my vehicle I was happily surprised with the quality of the work performed. My 14 year old vehicle looked new again. Thank you to Miguel and the MAACO employees for their excellent work performed on my vehicle. I would recommend MAACO to my friends and family.
A few months ago I got into minor fender bender. With my insurance company I went to Maaco on Williamson road. They quoted me $1500 and that they could take care of the damage in 5-7 business days. I dropped my car off on a Monday after getting into an accident on a Friday. It took them a month to get my car back to me. When I got my car back there was dirt in the clear coat and multiple areas of shoddy workmanship. They also over sprayed into my engine bay. It was very badly done. I went back and spoke to the manager Robert Belcher and he informed me that this isn’t their way of doing things and they wouldn’t be in business for 8- 9 years if it was. After talking with him we concluded that he would give me back part of my deductible as compensation and would I not leave a bad review for them and would live with the overspray and the defects. I was good for about a month and noticed the clear coat on my hood was peeling away. I brought it to my insurance company and they reached out to Robert and asked him to contact me and he did not. I instead reached out to him myself and showed him the issues. He saw them and said he wanted to fix the issues. And that people make mistakes. I told him I appreciated his honesty and was willing to give him another chance to fix it. We scheduled my appt Tuesday of last week and I told him that I would have to take time off without my car and would need it back by Friday and he said they could do that. Friday comes I pick up my car and it looks great except for a new gash exposing a layer of paint on the front passenger door. When I asked Robert about it he said his guys weren’t on that side but they had been on that side replacing an emblem. They even had blue painters tape covering the emblem and he pulled it off and showed me. I told him I take pics of my car all the time, and the family and I wash and wax it every week or so, I even showed him some pics of the car. His response?“Oh the damage isn’t in THAT picture. I was floored. The person who painted my car came out as well I showed it to him he shrugged and walked away. He completely denied the damage and asked me what I wanted to do. After holding my car hostage for a month to do a crappy job and then taking it hostage again for a week and giving me another defect I’m really at a loss as to how these people are continually getting away with doing this to people. I simply told him “Thank you “ for the “ Work” they did and took my keys and left. This is my transportation to and from work. This is the car my family and I ride to church in on Sundays, We wash and wax it together as a family, and we know every inch of this car. This damage was NOT there. I also have L.E.D. Projectors that shine on the ground when the doors are opened. Mysteriously, they stopped working as well. But I’d imagine that has nothing to do with them right? After all they don’t know that happened to my car that was in their care for a week, nor how it popped up with the new damage and issues. My suggestion? FIND A BETTER PLACE TO GO TO GET YOUR WORK DONE. These people obviously don’t care about what they do, and simply do whatever to get by. After looking me in the eyes and telling me that He would take care of an issue THEY CREATED, only to do me dirty and lie in my face, Robert Is wearing the mask of a SHADY BUSINESSMAN to me. And I will tell ALL WHO WILL LISTEN My story, and to stay FAR FAR AWAY from MAACO ON WILLIAMSON ROAD N.W.
I bought a 2005 chevy silverado 1500 on a Tuesday took it to maaco on a Friday. It ad body damage and cosmetic problems. Truck was white, had it painted black. Came out great. Looks like a new truck. Neil the service manager was great. I picked up the truck on a Friday hung around just chatting with Neil about his grandkids. Oh they also installed my tailgate and bed liners for free great service.
This was not this WTH Maaco I went to in 2001, but in Terre Haute, where I did all the body work, prepped the car to perfection, all they had to do is paint the car. When I went to pick it up, it had the worst orange peel I have veer seen, for I painted cars in the 70's and early 80's at my friends shop, who thought me everything about body work and painting. Not only was the orange peeling terrible, but there was also Fish Eye on the paint as well! I told the manager and he said all new cars and trucks come from the factory with this and I told him he was a liar and idiot. I was thinking of getting our 2005 Grand Prix, which has two small scratches on the passenger door taken care of and have them paint it, but not wanting to pay for sub standard work and I saw Undercover boss and the CEO was peeved at a few places of his that showed no desire, short cutting, and poor workers and attitudes, as well poor workmanship, and the CEO vowed to make it better, to which this guy has not, nor his Franchisee's. They use poor quality paint and prepping, for I personally attest to this by my own experience and my car is in excellent condition and I don't want to make the same mistake twice. The CEO needs to contact me and assure my car will be done to top standards, then maybe I would consider this company. More than disappointing, but a rip off to the consumer! You get what you pay for folks! I would show a photo, but I traded the car in for a new car in 2004.
Hi, I just got my car painted. The scratch still can be seen on the trunk door, and there were one part broken and three parts missing of the driver and passenger door. Even the painting work has a lot bubble and small dents on it. I just deal with the dirty interior and horrible smell inside. And bought the broken parts by myself. Wanna throw your car away? Go to Maaco, they will help you with this.
WORST QUALITY PAINTING JOB EVER - TOTAL RIP OFF. I used Maaco to repair a the front bumper of my car due to collision, that was in February / March, 2017. They charged the insurance company a lot of money ($3028.94), claiming they are ordering original parts to fix it.
It includes replacing the bumper and painting it to the original color of the car. They got fully paid.
After Repair, they told me that their repair have a lifetime warranty.
In less than 6 months, I noticed the paint is already coming off. I took it back to them for repaint of the part coming off, they were so ferocious and rude, boasting they would not repaint it.
It was the worst customer service and bridge of warranty that I ever know.
Please NEVER take your car to this people. They are total rip off. Warn ALL Your friends and family about them.
Put some minor scratches on my Civic a while back. These guys were half the cost of the Honda shop. Since i was paying out of pocket (not using insurance) I chose them. No complaints. Had a slight odor of paint inside but eventually went away. Use common sense. If major damage then you might want to go to a "real" body shop But for minor body repairs (mine were paint scratches) and a paint job these guys were fine. As with any situation don't leave anything valuable behind though for obvious reasons.
My experience was exemplary! Jason explained everything carefully. I was repairing my kids' car and was paying for it myself. As such, I chose to go with the "Elective" service. I am so happy because it turned out to be "Class A" service for me at the lower cost. The repairs are perfect and the paint matches completely. Plus, they finished a day early just so I could have the car for the weekend! Even nicer was everyone's helpfulness and customer service. I don't work far from the shop, but I was still surprised when he offered to pick me up and drop me off. Hopefully my teens won't have any more accidents, but if they do, I will definitely go back!
We took our son's VW in for a full body paint job and he loves it. Jason and Tony were the best. They helped us with paint suggestions when we weren't sure what or how to break up the Plum Crazy Purple color that our son wanted. They suggested Corvette black and wow it came out great!! They really know what they are doing!! The car came out great we love it and most importantly our son loves it!!! I would recommend this Maaco to everyone. They went above and beyond for us and worked with us. Thanks Guys you did a great job!! And they are just all around nice people who really know what they are doing!
I needed to have my bumper replaced after being rear ended. Maaco was recommended to me by both a friend and another car service center. They worked with the other insurance company, so I did not have to be the middleman. Since they preordered the part, I was able to pick up my car (which was clean inside and out!) two days after I brought it in. The quote they gave me was exactly what was paid - to the penny! They did a great job and were sincerely considerate throughout the process. If I ever need additional repairs (hopefully not!), I will come to Maaco, and recommend it to anyone!
I enjoyed my time at Maaco. They get the job done well and quick. Jason is very understanding and a very nice person to talk to. He is willing to work around anything you need and has a variety of options available. I am glad I went there and I wouldn't have wanted to go any where else!
My wife has a 1998 daily driver Corvette. I had estimates up to $8,000 to have it painted, my thoughts are the car isn't worth much more than that, so that was out. We took it to Maaco in York and got the top of the line paint job! WOW were we pleased! Not a flaw in the paint and boy did it shine! I was very pleased with the price, the quality of the work and the staff was very professional. What made me make the decision was when they took me to the shop to see their work in process. I will definitely will be bringing them more work in the future!! Thanks
