Don't use this company!!!!! They are lyer, and cheaters!!!! They ripped off my daughter. They charged her $125 for a 6 minute cab ride from Georgetown to Reagan. This is a $20 cab ride. Total abuse!!

Terrible customer service.



My wife was flying into Dulles on an international flight, and was arriving late. The hotel shuttle stopped running before she arrived, and I wanted to find her some reliable transportation. I didn't want her to get a random taxi at 1am. I called Washington Dulles Flyer and they told me they could do it. They did tell me there would be an extra $40.00 charge if she was an hour late. I said that is fine, and told the arrive 30 minutes after her scheduled arrival time.



At 1am she is calling me and asking me why it is $40.00 dollars more than I was told. I talked to the driver and he told me that she had been almost and hour and a half late. I asked him what time he had arrived, and he told me 30 minutes BEFORE the time I told him to get there. So, he arrived early, then proceeded to charge me the extra money because he had to wait. If he had listened on the phone, this would not have happened. I believe that he arrived early on purpose so that he could charge me the extra money because it was a late flight. The bottom line is, you cannot use 3rd world business practices in the United States and expect no consequences.



To top it off, my wife told me that the driver was rude, his sedan smelled like cigarettes, and he had no idea how to get to the hotel he was supposed to go to, in spite of the fact that I had given specific directions to the gentleman I had spoken to on the phone. Be assured, that this service is not a service at all. It is a sham. I've used car services all over the world, and this by far is the worst I have ever experienced.

On time, Good service They showed up on time were friendly and got me where I wanted to go in a very timely manner. I will use them again.

definitely great!!! We used them for the first time recently when our teenager was flying into Washington ndc by herself and we needed safe, reliable transportation to and from the airport.

First, I will tell you that I began with a pleasant experience with this company. I hired a sedan driver who took me from my work to the airport with no problems. He was a young guy and his car was very neat and professional looking.



That is where my good feelings end.



I called again to request an early-morning ride to Union Station for another business trip. When I left my apartment and rounded the corner, I was greeted by a grumpy driver in a minivan that has seen better days.



OK, I could deal with the unprofessional vehicle ... it was just a short trip, right? WRONG! The guy didn't know where he was going and kept turning around when he saw traffic. I had given myself PLENTY of time to get to the station, but I didn't even get out of Fairfax County for the first hour of the trip.



Because of the rush hour traffic, the driver was becoming increasingly frustrated. At one point he actually told me that I should have either allowed an extra hour for the trip (um, no, I think 2 1/2 hours for a trip from Fairfax to DC should be sufficient, thank you very much) or taken the METRO instead.



Needless to say, I missed my train and had to get on the next one. That wasn't the worst of it, though. The worst part was that when we arrived at the station, he tried to charge me $50 extra over the agreed-upon flat rate. When I refused to pay it, he became enraged and started yelling at me. He then called the dispatcher, who told him that he couldn't charge extra just because the trip took him longer.



When I asked to pay by credit card, he went ballistic. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.



Think I was done with this terrible company? Nope. I needed a ride to the airport again last month. I decided this time to get smart and REQUEST my original friend, Richie. I told the dispatcher the terrible experience I had with the minivan driver and put in my request. Unfortunately, Richie no longer worked there. I should have hung up then, but I decided to give them another chance. I repeated my story and told them to send me another driver -- anyone but minivan guy. The dispatcher promised and that was that.



... UNTIL ANGRY MINIVAN GUY WAS AT MY DOOR THE NEXT MORNING!!!!



Inexcusable!



I couldn't believe they sent him AGAIN after I told them what a horrible experience I had with him. That is IT. I am done with this company, and I am bound and determined to let everyone I know not to use them.



Consider yourself warned.

I know that the bad reviews for this company are just attack ads from the competition! Can't you just stand on your own merits, Do you have to trash everyone else to make yourselves feel better? This company has been around for several years and has always been wonderful. They don't deserve this. Just call them and you will see. They are professional, friendly and on-time. I recommend them all the time.

Be aware!

This is not a taxi company and by no means they are the Dulles airport Washington flyer taxi co. I was expecting to see an airport taxi when this busted up black sedan showed up a little late and in a hurry. I inquired about the meter and he replied that he is a limo and would charge me a flat rate which was at least $10 more than a taxi. I had no choice but to go to catch my flight. I should have sensed when I made a reservation. I think he was driving when he took the reservation. Eventually the drive to the airport was okay but I wasn't comfortable with the whole thing.

Why they are using the name which sounds like Dulles airport taxi?

If I am asking for a taxi then why they don't have meters?

If they have flat rates, why they don't tell you when you are making a reservation?....................

Just be aware!

This Company is hands down the best cab service I've ever got. They all are always on time. The Driver's are very polite and caring. They are very prompt and loyal to there customers. I cannot belive people would call the Driver's rude because every time ive taken a cab and got a different driver each time they all were wonderful and polite. I higly recommend them there prices are reasonable then any other cab company.

I HAVE NEVER in my life had to deal with the most RUDEST driver, not only where they unreliable but the guy arrived 30 minutes late. I was shocked when a sedan pulled up in my driveway when I requested a taxi. The car had a very bad smoke smell! how ANYONE could give this cab co any stars is beyond me!! I would NEVER recommend this unreliable cab service to anyone!

I last month used this service and am very much impressed when not only the Sedan reached in time, but during my one hour journey, I was offered water also. The Driver was quite conversant in the English language. I was very much impressed on knowing that he was a Computer Engineer and was laid down a month ago.

I will definately use this service in future.

I travel allot and I keep their business card on me. Everytime I am in the DC area, I know I can count on them to show up, get me there on time and have a nice clean vehicle. I have never been disappointed, very professional orginization.

I was ensured by the person who answered the phone that Washington Dulles Flyer, LLC was a taxi service and was surprised when a sedan showed up twenty-five minutes late from my scheduled pick up time. The driver was very rude, never apologized for being late and the sedan smelled of smoke. Once we arrived to the airport the driver demanded that I pay $30.00 over the price I was quoted. Use this fake taxi service at your own risk!
