We were fortunate enough to provide Free Dental Exams and basic cleanings to over 150 kids at our Head Start Event in Kokomo this past Friday! At LADD, we are strong believers in giving back to the communities that we serve. Which is why we are proud to announce that this year, we have already provided Free dental services and supplies to over 1,000 #North #Central #Indiana #children & #families ! PS- And a huge shout-out to all of the volunteers and staff that made this event so successful.

Veneers

Dental Bonding
In dental bonding, a tooth-colored, putty-like resin, which is a durable plastic material, is applied to the tooth and hardened with an ultraviolet or laser light, bonding the material to the tooth. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Oral Surgery
Oral Surgery: Ladd Dental Group has trained specialists in the field of oral surgery. We have a surgically trained prosthodontist, Dr. Patel, who has a tremendous amount of experience with oral surgery, Dr. Conkin, an oral surgeon, as well as a multitude of dentists who have vast amounts of clinical experience in the field. From pulling a single tooth, to extracting multiple impacted wisdom teeth, and everything in between, Ladd Dental Group has just the right provider for your individual dental care!
Maxillofacial Surgery
Dr. Conkin completed an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the National Capitol Consortium (National Naval Medical Center/ Walter Reed Army Medical Center) in Bethesda, Maryland/ Washington DC. While in residency, he was privileged to care for our sailors, soldiers, airmen, and marines injured during combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. He rotated at multiple hospitals including the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Washington Hospital Center, and the aforementioned training hospitals. This allowed Dr. Conkin to operate with many world experts on various aspects of oral surgery, head and neck pathology, maxillofacial reconstruction, and facial cosmetic surgery and utilize this knowledge in all aspects of his surgical practice today.
Tooth Extractions
We have three certified dental specialists that specialize in wisdom teeth extractions. Our specialists can preform the procedure using IV sedation, oral conscious sedation, nitrous, or just local anesthetic. Whatever standard of care the patient wishes to have, we can provide.

Braces
Dr. Brittany Curnutt is extremely excited to be a member of LADD Dental Group ! Her goal is to make patients feel comfortable during their visits while also motivating them to play an active role in their oral and dental health. Dr. Curnutt wants to help patients feel confident in their smiles. She grew up in Westfield, Indiana, where she is a graduate of Westfield High School. She then graduated from DePauw University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry in 2010. Dr. Curnutt is a graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2014. During her time at IUSD, Dr. Curnutt volunteered at the Student Outreach Clinic, which provided free dental care to an under-served population in Indianapolis. Additionally, she was a member of Kid's Club, which provided dental health education and screenings to children in the Indianapolis area. Dr. Curnutt is a member of the Indiana Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Indianapolis District Dental Society. Dr. Curnutt has attended several continuing education classes in order to remain knowledgeable about new technology and advancements in the dental profession. Her most recent continuing education experience included a visit to Glasgow, Scotland to attend the International Association of Pediatric Dentistry convention. Dr. Curnutt also earned certification to provide clear braces to patients using Six Month Smiles. During her free time, Dr. Curnutt enjoys going to sporting events, listening to live music, traveling, reading, and spending time with her friends and family. She also recently adopted a boxer mix named Jax, and she loves taking him to the bark park or on walks. Dr. Curnutt looks forward to meeting you and serving all of your dental needs!
