They arent going to face the thousands of U.S Government disabled retirees whos bank accounts they are levying for unpaid taxes even though those pensions are tax exempt because its an on the job injury and the amount is considerable less than regular pensions and like me they tell u nothing until you fimd you have no bank account and no money. ! Must be a plan to help solve the defeciet om the backs of the disabled . Low down and so sneaky the disabled arent evem told and the runaroind afterwards is a cornucopia of heartless ignorant employees who are rude if you try to explain why you dont owe taxes amd just steer you towards a finance company to commit to a long term payment plan in order to stop any more levys..of course they arent there
Something is going to blow up in thier faces on this one

Don't waste your time with the IRS phone service. they don't answere the phones. They want your money only. When you need help they give you more head aches . No address for Niagara falls area. Never can speak with a live person. Why do we have this wonderful service which is good for nothing !!!!!!!!! Three weeks and still trying too get help...WOW...GREAT SLOW SERVICE....

After trying to call them multiple times and keep getting an automated message I went to my local office in Charlottesville . When I got there I had 3 people before me, which seem reasonable except that they only have 1 person helping and she took 1.5 hours just with one taxpayer!!!!! If the plan is to take that long with each appointment then have somebody else helping the taxpayers!!!!!! This is worst than the dmv

This, is an answer to Lorne B.
The IRS does not just grab money out of any of your bank accounts. The federal law allows them to contact your bank after two years. They usually wait a little longer. The bank then sends a letter to the account holder along with a copy of the IRS letter stating that they have 20 days to reply or the money will be transferred out of your account. Basically, if you don't pay your share, they find where you are hiding you money.

these people are awful. I've called 10 times trying to get a letter they should have sent me 2 years ago. No ONE returns my calls...so after 3 days (their self-determined opinion of when they should call back) I call again. They are worthless.
