Where do I start?! Will NEVER deliver water on time. 3 out of 5 machines I have had were broken when I received them. Scheduled multiple appointments and they just wouldn't show. Never a call or email, just wouldn't show. Waited forever to talk to upper management just to find out they wouldn't allow me to contact them; they would and then I would just get a call back! Never happens. Such a disappointment. But the water is good.
I had water from Hinkley Springs for about 3-4 months but cancelled due to continued issues with over billing. The first delivery they brought all of this individually bottled water which I didn't ask for. The driver said it was free. I should have made him take it back. After looking closely at the first bill they had a) switched me from the budget spring water plan I had requested and b) had me on a plan that would continue to deliver individual bottles of water at each delivery. I thought I got that straightened out, but no.... Every month I had issues. They continued to bring me purified and not spring. Then they got spring right but charged me more than the agreed upon budget rate. Every billing cycle I'd have to call, spend 30 minutes or more hashing it out and would be issued a refund and told it should be right next month. It never was. And it's incredibly confusing - I have no clue if I was really issued refunds fairly or charged fairly and I'm well educated. It would take me an hour at least to go back thru their ridiculous billing and cross check with my credit card. So i quit.
Now I'm trying to find an alternative provider. I live in Chicago. It's amazingly hard to find a water delivery source! It's like the cable companies. It seems only certain companies can service my area and rather than speaking to a main corporate contact you get transferred to the local provider. Normally I would like that but it's a pain! I can't reach anyone on a Saturday. I can't price the water online. Half of the big companies don't deliver to my zip code. What a racket.
The website is horrible. It takes forever to create an account, then about every two months it decides you no longer have an account. There are fees for paper involves but when you constantly spend hours trying to get into your account to pay online it's no longer worth it. Even the online contact form froze up and will not send. The delivery service people were always kind and good but the back office is difficult.
