Green Acres Bowl

I do not know how they lucked into being a favorite hangout for gays, being they are named after one of the most oppressive churches for gays in East Texas. A little patience and keeping you ears open, you will hear the "bartender" grannies use derogatory adjectives for gays, illegally charge you for items not ordered, and don't forget to note those mysterious Styrofoam cups and where people are going with them. The place never invests anything into cleaning services, karaoke music is super outdated, feces on the wall in the restroom, and a plethora of fruit flies around the bar. I know many think "everyone's money is green", but my money will no longer have anything to do with "Green Acres" anything. It's not the place to be - gay or straight.

I'm not from Tyler Tx... I'm from Tn...We relocated a year ago... So we were trying to find something we could to help us not be so home sick...We decided to go to Green Acres Bowl and had a blast the people were so nice and friendly..I really enjoyed myself and so did my husband... We will definitely be back.. It also was a family envorment... Thanks for the fun!!
