He also worked for the National Park Service and served with the Southeast Exotic Plant Management Team treating invasive species across the eastern half of the United States.

Lawn Mowing
Blake is a Ground Operations Specialist and Climber at Epperson Tree. He was hired in 2020 and came aboard with a lot of experience working in the Tree Care Industry. Blake was born and raised in Hendersonville, NC and graduated from East Henderson High School. In high school, Blake was an accomplished pole vaulter launching himself well over 15 feet in the air. Needless to say...he has no fear of heights. Blake enjoys working at Epperson Tree because of the family and team atmosphere. He stated that no one lets you struggle, and we work together. Blake and his girlfriend, Allie were blessed with a beautiful baby boy named Briar. On Blake's free time he enjoys accomplishing small projects around the house, mowing the lawn, splitting wood, gardening and playing with his son Briar. We are all grateful for Blake as a new addition to the Epperson Tree family.
Lawn Maintenance
At a very early age Dale Epperson began honing his skills in the tree care industry and learning the craft of the tree business from his dad, Dean Epperson. Dean would talk to locals, cut trees down in the woods and store them in his wood yard. Dale fondly remembers cold winter days sitting on lawn chairs with his dad and grandfather sipping on coffee to keep warm as they sold firewood to customers traveling along the highway. In later years, he asked his dad to join him in starting their own tree business. In 2000, Dean and Dale converted an F350 pickup truck and a 16' trailer into Epperson's Lawn Care and Tree Service. As time passed, Epperson's Tree Service evolved into one of WNC's premier full-service tree care companies. Dale's father Dean retired in 2006. Dale and his wife, Julie, purchased the business from Dean to take sole ownership.
