It's under new ownership since August 2013. The new guys are very helpful and have a nice store. Selection is good and I thought prices were fair.

Their prices on glocks are very resonable. I also found a couple of things for my muzzleloader, they also have black powder which most places dont't have. The customer service does suck I can agree on that but they're old you know.

Not Impressed

I went to their store to buy supplies for re-loading. I didn't realize until I got there that they also sold guns. I was interested in a pistol but wanted to get my other purchases figured out first. When I asked the owner for some information, he was very short and not at all helpful. His wife was also not helpful, but was also rude. She acted as if everyone should know all of the things about guns and shells that she knew. I had no idea what I needed in the way of supplies for re-loading, but was expecting to buy quite a bit of stuff for my son as well as a complete set up for myself. They refused to open a box to try to help my son figure out what exactly he needed for the re-loader he had just purchased. We live 45 minutes away from this store so it was not as if we could go right home and come right back. When they refused to open the box for my son, I knew I had no desire to spend any money there. I was planning to spend a great deal of money on supplies and also a gun or maybe two, but I'd rather pay more to someone else who was more willing to be helpful and live further away, than give them a dime of my money. Their PR skills are really lacking and their rude nature was a definite turn off. I think they should teach people gun safety and knowledge instead of insulting them. I will never go back there and I will pass the word along to everyone I know how rude and unprofessional they were.
