Overall

After considering other motorcycle dealerships I chose Durant Cycle for maintenance on my used cycle which I recently purchased. I was impressed by their reasonable charges, their timely appointment scheduling, meticulous attention to details (they covered all the factory maintenance service requirements), keeping me informed of the progress on the maintenance of my bike, and the courtesy they extended to a picky retired person. My cycle was not running too well when I brought it to them, but now it runs great! Usually I approach auto and cycle dealerships apprehensively, but at Durant Cycle I found a group of dedicated people who are trustworthy, friendly and maintain integrity in their business dealings. I will be happy to trust my cycle to them again in the future. I wholeheartedly recommend Durant Cycle to anyone looking to buy a cycle or needing reasonable, competent maintenance on your cycle.

I was taught that an employee is a reflection of the person who hires them. If that's the case, then my last experience with your business taught me 1 of 2 things:



Either your shop is so successful that crossing off customers is easy as pie, or, your shop is struggling and your standards on choosing employees reflect that struggle. Either way, I feel cheated.



I entrusted my hard earned dollars into your business. Trusted your shop to be the place I take my children as they grow. I believe in trust, honor and fairness. I don't except handouts and believe a man is worth what he put into this world.



At your business, I was called a liar more than once. Not just by your "new" employee, but by you yourself, sir. I wrote the encounter off as a simple misunderstanding the first time, because I wanted to give your business the benefit of the doubt and believe that I wasn't a fool for investing over 10,000 there...that this place was interested in more than just the money in my pocket and that face-to-face customer service still exists and I'm not just a number that is easily disregarded.



I was wrong to believe this, and judging from other reviews that are popping up about your shop, I'm not the only one who feels this way.



Perhaps this pattern shouldn't be ignored mr. Yates. Your customers deserve more.

Mr. Goodmanners101, I received your complaint from the BBB today. From what I gathered from BBB, the big issue is that your carb leaked fuel after you picked the bike up from my dealership AND when you called about it, a new employee gave you bad information. I completely understand your frustration and have been there many times myself. Normally I'll speak with a manager or the owner, not to get someone in trouble, or not to get something free, but to help ensure a better experience for everyone next time. I sincerely apologize for the bad information & service you got from my store. Also, I'm aware that it wasn't your fault. It is totally my problem, my issue and my fault that the employee you talked to was new and didn't have the training (or authorization) to handle a situation like this. Finally, now that I know about it, I would like an opportunity to satisfy your complaints. My family has worked hard for over 35 years building this business into a strong, ethical and good local buisness. Service department is nothing but a bunch of crooks. NO SUCH THING AS A WARRANTY at this place. Don't waste your time, don't waste your money, don't waste your energy.



Sales guy Travis will jack up the price and lie to your face about the deal your getting. DO YOUR HOMEWORK on what these machines cost before seeing this place. See for yourself, highest markup in oklahoma.



Service team will take 5 minutes looking at your vehicle, then charge you for the full hour!!!! Take the machine home, find a problem that wasnt there before, and you are screwed!



They have a BS 30 day service warranty on the back of their statements. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, it's just to look pretty. They WILL NOT HONOR IT.



I've bought 3 machines from them because i'm a yamaha guy, but seriously, I've had more bad experiences here then I should have. How these monkeys stay in business is beyond me.
