For the 2nd time with the same driver,I had poor service. He was late delivering my food. The box was barely warm. Id called the restaraunt to check if it had been picked up. It had at least 30 mins before, but it still was not in my possession. When he arrived, and i asked about it, he was rude, and downright facetious when I wouldn't tip him for his poor services. He started screaming at me. When i closed my door, he used my personal info on the receipt to call and harass me. He yelled that he'd make sureddoorstep delivery never delivered to me ever again.
This was my first and more than likely my last time using DoorStep Delivery’s service. I ordered 2 apps and 2 entrees from TGI Fridays via DSD. My estimated delivery time was 9:35pm. At 10:20pm our order still had not arrived and there was no communication from the driver or company about a delay. I called the contact # listed on the website and I was connected to a female manager who stated that TGI Friday was overwhelmed with orders and that is why my order was so late. It's a Sunday evening after peak dinning hours. Even if this was the case, which I HIGHLY doubt; why wouldn't you as a service provider, just contact your customer about the delay. ALL of our food was very cold. The fries were cold and mushy. One app ordered was the Sesame Jack Strips and they had been sitting for so long that the strips had soaked up every bit of the sauce and were cold. The whole meal was awful, and most of it is now in my trash. I spent $45 not including tip on this and it was a complete waste. I'm pretty disgusted. I also always tip at least 20%, even to a delivery person. This company is going to miss out on a very good, potential regular customer.
