DAV services are free of charge for all. The National Service Officers assist with claims processing. They are highly trained Veterans Claims Representatives. The DAV works to keep and maintain Veterans earned benefits and entitlements. Over 90% of donations to DAV goes to helping Veterans, Service Connected Disabled Veterans, Spouses and Dependents.

I attempted to see the V.A. for my Military service injuries, so I could be rated, I was told it was a 4 month waiting list to see someone. I contacted Disabled American Veterans and recieved all the help I needed. V.A. is goverment so waiting is to be expected, D.A.V. is non profit helping people in more than claim services.
