20 Point AC Tune Up Problems

On 5/19/2018 I had Del-Air complete the 20 Point A/C tune-up on the 2 units at my house. The tech arrived at my house at 9:05am and completed the service on both units at 10:10am. I was told that everything was working great and the freon levels were perfect I have used Del Air for more than 10 years and know this service usually takes more than 2 hours to complete, so I thought it was strange the service took only one hour to complete on that day.
On 5/22/2018 at 4:30PM I arrived home from work and the downstairs of my house was 84 degrees and the A/C was not working. I called Del-Air and another tech named Mike came to my house at 5:30pm that evening. Mike determined that the refrigerant level was very low and a capacitor needed to be replaced. Mike also found the drainline and drain pan had not been cleaned and found caps loose. After 2 hours Mike was able to get the system working again. Mike also put in his work order that the tune-up was not done correctly on 5/19.

The first tech did not complete most items on the 20 Point A/C tune-up which caused the A/C system to stop working 3 days later. I paid Del-Air $139.99 for services that were not completed and will not use Del Air in the future.

Slick Scam Artists!!

Beware of this company! They installed most of the ac units in my subdivision. They ran the pressure lines underground with no pvc, no insulation, no protection. They installed undersized units in many of the homes. These factors predisposwd the units to having problems. We had our unit freeze up within the first year. A young tech came out and found the gas was almost empty. He said that probably happened during the install. He filled the gas and put a jump start unit in because it made a screaming sound during start-ups. He gave me a ticket and I didn't notice he omitted the gas fill, only putting the jump start unit. Just outside the warranty period, the same thing happened. Delair then did a pressure check and said I need new lines run due to leaks. They said it would cost me $2000+ for this work. I spoke to the supervisor, and he said they never filled the gas, and it is off warranty. He said if there is no documentation, then it didn't happen. Beware!!!!!

well I had the worst service from this company on the last two visit, the service techs are trying to scam me tell me I need items I dont need or want. Terrible customer service for the first time in years time to look for another ac provider. The tech was practically breaking my electric breaker saying I need a new one he wants to order a breaker I said dont break it there nothing wrong with it & didnt put it back together my husband is like you gonna put it back together you pulled it apart.. ugh,.. just terrible, awful experience...

Very good the people is nice

This company was beyond respectful of my time! They called the day before to confirm my appointment, called 30 minutes before arriving to my home and then arrived right when they said they would. They were courteous and professional, seemed knowlegeable and fixed my AC problem quickly. Not the cheapest in town, but I'm certain the quality work they did and their respect for my time was well worth the extra $10!!!!!!

Honest and fair company. Largest A/C & Electrical company that stands behind their work. Michelle is very polite and saved the day for me.

Very quick, honest and reliable. Our tech was very efficient and gave a lot of free advice on how to maintain our existing A/C unit to keep it running for a long time. Will use again if the need ever arises.

I would not recommend this company. Due to repair issues on a new unit that they installed 2 years ago and a few dollars ($60.00), Del-Air did not want to cooperate. I suggest going with a BBB accredited Business than dealing with them again.

These guys are honest, quick, and cost half as much as a dishonest competitor charged us for the same repair a year ago.
