This was the service provider I was given through Allstate Motor Club. I would avoid doing business with this company at all costs. Horrible communication. Didn't arrive to pick up my car until 6 HOURS after the request was made and I was quoted a two hour wait time. They didn't make it to the place it was supposed to be dropped off to be fixed on time so Dan's Auto impounded my car and tried to make me pay to get it taken out (Allstate ended up covering the cost, though they told me that they will no longer be doing business with them again given how they handled our situation). The only person we were ever able to speak to from the company was the actual tow truck driver who thankfully took our calls when the owner was ignoring our calls. The car was finally brought to the shop 20 hours after the initial call had been made and for many of those hours we were unable to get any information from Dan's Auto as to the whereabouts of our vehicle. I would definitely not recommend this business. Horrible and rude owner with zero accountability.
I was given Dan's Auto Tech and Towing for a service call through Encompass. When I called the company to confirm the visit, I was told that Dan's had been given the wrong zip code, and that they would call me back. After 40 minutes with no call back, I called again and learned that my service call had been cancelled because of the incorrect zip code. It's unacceptable that they cancelled my service call without notifying me.
Booked with Dan through my roadside assistance and was quoted an hour wait time. After an hour, I was notified that it would an additional hour wait. After a total of 2 hours, I was notified that they were not coming. Waited for 2 hours, then left stranded.
I called Allstate roadside assistance for a tow & was given Dans Auto Tech & Towing. I was quoted $14 from Allstate, when I called to confirm Dan tells me he calculates milage different than Allstate & that I needed an to pay him $50! He really tried to shake me down! He canceled the service & I was stuck for over 4 hours.
