Glass Houses...

To Jewstone:
When criticizing another person's English skills, it is usually more effective if you can manage to use decent spelling and grammar. Your critique lost all effectiveness, simply because of your poor language skills.

Top Notch, no question.

I love CVS. period. I have never been disappointed, pics on time (if not early!!!), prescription wait was exceptional (just enough time to look around the store), and most of all clean - there is a even a sign on the bathroom door that states if the bathroom does not uphold your standards to let the store manager know. All the bases are covered... Even with a smile and greeting when i arrive, and most importantly when I leave. I know my business/opinions/criticisms matter. Why would you go anywhere else after this experience?! My whole family entrusts their purchases and prescriptions in this company. After all CVS stands for Consumer valued Services ...see what all they stand for --> go ahead ;) you wont be let down -->

costly mistakes

The pharmacy, #6992 on South Alameda, attempted to sell me prescriptions at full price, claiming that I had no insurance after the order had already been filled and my insurance cards submitted.
I was shocked and feared that I had actually been dropped from my insurance.
I called my insurance, who had me call Pharmacare who owns Caremark.
Finally, I had to call CVS-Caremark, take down a number, and have the pharmacy call and talk to them. This was all from using the phone number that is on the back of the CVS Caremark/ExtraCare card that they already had looked at and failed to use. After they finished the call, they did not call me back, I had to call them.
Had I accepted their conclusion that I had no insurance, it would've cost me $165.
Should I be expected to do their job for them? I contacted Sam's Club, who had already found this same information that CVS failed to a month earlier when I went there. Why didn't they take the time to be sure before telling me that I had no insurance, ... that it had been cancelled?
After an hour and a half of phone time, I returned to pay $35 instead of the $200 they were ready to charge me for their mistake. No apology was given. This is unacceptable.
Unless you are ready to do the pharmacy's job for them or are willing to risk hundreds of dollars, I recommend you take your prescriptions elsewhere.

500 Washington St., Weymouth, MA 02188 - just to give an example of what I go thru, I'll start with the most recent episode. I just had surgery, so last night my mother helped me out and put in a prescription for my grandson. It said it needed dr's approval. So she asked if there as a new on on hold... they said no. So I called and told them to look again... there was. But, there were not pills available for an entire fill, I would have to wait two days. I asked why more weren't reordered by the clerk that used the last of them. They didn't know. So I told them I would pick up the other one this morning. It wasn't filled. So I had to demand that it be filled, I wasn't coming back in an hour. So they asked if I would ride around the building. I did. I've road around that building 30 - 35 times in the past two years. Every month I sweat when I have to go there. Nothing is ever done correct... it takes 4-5 phone calls and a demand when I get there. Horrible experiences!

CVS Downtown Tampa

This CVS store has by far given me the best pharmaceutical care that I have ever received. I am on SSI and have to have over ten prescriptions filled (including two C2's) and have always had my prescriptions filled on time the CVS store located in downtown Tampa. In fact the pharmacists seem to go out of their way to make sure that I have my refills prepared before I even call them in. It took a few months for me to be able to get my C2's filled but this is a problem anywhere in the country because of all the strict laws governing the C2 prescriptions. I couldn't be happier with the care that I have received from the employees at this CVS store. Everyone from the managers, to the pharmacists, to the cashiers have always made me feel like a valued customer. Thanks to all of you for making my life much easier.

0 abligations for the customers

Some workers made out of their jobs in this lovely drugstore a personal use- just service for their gerlfriends. Customers will be waiting in line forever and people they know and are friends will wolk in and serve before you! If you abject, abuse will be comming to you !! Co-pay saddenly almost double without any explanation! I an looking for different drugstore!!!

Pricing info

Pharmacy would not provide info without wasting my time and gas to take my prescription in for pricing info. NO WAY am iI going to waste my resources to find out I may save a dollar, or no savings at all. Not like I was asking personal info, or security info. Just pricing

Three times within the last 9 mos when my wife had tried to get her prescription REFILLED they were out of the meds. NO call, she found out only when she went to the pharmacy at the designated time and was told they had to order it. The last time, she ordered on Sun, went to pick it up, and was told:"Sorry, we have to order it. It will be here Mon". Mon it wasn't there. Tues it wasn't there and the pharmacist couldn't find the refill order, finding it when my wife insisted she look further. She promised to call back. NOTHING. Wed, my wife called and they couldn't find any record of the prescription.

I have had the same thing happen to me three times also...
