Entrust Your Life's Memories with Us

General Info
Coast to Coast Moving and Storage, and its partner for interstate moving, Wheaton World Wide Moving, make up the perfect team to help you relocate your home; Entrust Your Life's Memories with Us. Whether you're moving across the street or across the country, Coast to Coast Moving and Storage provides quality relocation services for: Corporate Relocation, Local/Long Distance Residential Relocation, Packing/Crating/Unpacking and Storage. Our fleet is diverse and our employees are professionally trained in each field and services we offer. We are based in Tampa, Florida with additional offices in Key West, FL and Anaheim, CA. Personal message from the Owner, George Burd: I started this company to serve the Military service members that were based in Key West, FL. I was running another moving company and thought that I could bring more quality and a higher level of service to the fine men and woman that protect our country. To do this, I had to start my own company and implement many new policies. These changes along with a lot of hard work and determination allowed us to become successful. After just 10 months we were able to open our 2nd location in Tampa Bay and like our Key West counter-part, we service our Military families in addition to Local moves, National accounts and COD customers. My goal is to bring a higher standard of quality service to the industry; average is just not good enough. I have been in the moving business for the last 20 years. I have experience in every aspect of the industry. I started as a helper ( packer, loader ) from there I purchased my first truck and became a long haul driver. In 2005 I came off the road and was hired as a local contractor running the daily operations with 30 or more men and 15 trucks. Over the course of almost five years I purchased over 20 pieces of equipment and was able to assemble a large work force. In January of 2009 I decided to open my own moving company. Six years later with a successful business and employees I consider family; I would love the opportunity to add you to my satisfied customer list. Sincerely, George Burd President/Owner

Coast to Coast Moving LLC.... where do I start off explaining the unprofessionalism or the con artistry actions this company has put us through?
I own a nationwide company that at times requires my employees to move from one state to another. In this case from Rochester, NY to Tampa, FL. Like any other time I googled and found Coast to Coast Moving, unfortunately there wasn't many reviews and in a business world that's a good sign, or so I thought.
So I contracted Coast to Coast Moving to move our employee with a brief description of furniture and items. An average quote was given of about 5k. A $1,300 deposit was paid and at that point total confidence was installed by a so called "Scott" with a 954 number.
A group of very unprofessional "movers" arrive to the home. They take a brief walk through and advise us it will be an additional $6,000 dollars because the bed is a California king vs a king (which it was a king btw) and there was more clothes than expected.
we cancelled and went with a more reputable company for half the price Coast to Coast wanted to get us for.
Three weeks passed and we haven't heard anything from Coast to Coast Moving LLC. So I got involved because it was clear they didn't have honest intent. Reached out to Scott, he answered his phone and claimed to be Scott's receptionist (mind you I know his voice because I spoke with him before). So after Scott got out of his "meeting" he had a very slick spoken gentleman by the name of Steven Erickson "office manager" of Coast to Coast Moving LLC.
Steven Erickson says to me, "if you would like your refund back we need your employee to remove their review" after explaining that the service provided was a form of stealing from clients in tight situations I agreed that I'll have the review taken down to avoid senseless bickering. He guaranteed it in the account no later than Friday at 5pm. A week later the review was removed and the refund has YET to be reinstated

We recently choose another loc...

We recently choose another local Key West mover who never showed up. That same day I called Coast to Coast movers to help us move ASAP, they showed up 2 hours later with a crew of professional movers. They packed, loaded and delivered my entire house that same day without a problem! Thank you Coast to Coast Movers for coming to the rescue!

They gave me a low ball estimate, and then charged almost double, saying that the weight estimate was off. Their fault, but I had to pay. They broke an item and lost an item documented on the inventory, and would not even call me back. Some of my furniture and boxes were covered in dirt too. Poor all around!
