NEVER USE THIS COMPANY

Friends, This is not Clintonville Electric; they are just using a similar name to make you feel like this is the service company of a former locally owned and trusted store where we bought many appliances over the years. Clintonville Electric began in 1939 and is closed ... Clintonville Service began a few years back when the store closed ...After we waited three days for the owner to arrive on his first scheduled visit, he called instead of coming to our home and diagnosed the problem with our dishwasher over the phone. It gets worse from here. He billed us for the part and after many days past he called and scheduled a time to come to our house, but he again never showed up, he stated he was at our front door at 11:00 that day and no one was home. It seems odd that we had 6 people at our house all day that day waiting on him, including a friend / US Army soldier visiting us on his leave from Iraq helping my son fix a car in the garage with our garage door open. He has changed this story to he did not come to the house but called us for directions, then back to stating he was on our door step and still today bounced back and forth to being here to calling us in one breath. After one additional no show he told us HE decided that he was not coming to our house that we were too nuts to have as a customer, but he would refund the money he billed on our credit card. (We called Sears and they fixed it!) Weeks past, our calls were unanswered but on a rare occasion he answered his phone. Then the stories start again .. he stated he processed the refund, then stated the bank had a problem, his wife stated they were processing the credit, then stated his credit card machine was not working, then stated he would send us a check. When I spoke to him that same day he promised to send us a refund check and told him I would stop by in 30 minutes to pick it up and once he changed his story and is now refusing to provide a refund that he just agreed to do so an earlier the same day? So now after 60 days he still has our money and he refuses to give us a refund that he has told us he processed several times and he has still never been to our house... we have begun action to take him to court to get our money back for work never preformed.. please pass the word, no one needs to be abused by this guy. It is time this business is shut down by educated consumers like you and by Maytag and the other manufacturers he represents, we will be contacting them ALL
