Highly recommend this company. Very professional, knowledgeable, and customer friendly. One Saturday afternoon, I was trying to fix a problem on my garage door and unscrewed parts of the garage... all of a sudden a cable went shooting up the rails and the door came off the rails, bumped me in the head and was left hanging open and was stuck in that position. I panicked and desperately started calling garage door companies but a lot of them were closed for the weekend. I was so glad when I called Capital City Garage and was told that they would send someone over to deal with my emergency. Within a few hours, Loren arrived and fixed the garage back to working condition. He cautioned that unscrewing the areas that we did was very unsafe and that we could have had serious bodily injury from the cables flying. I'm so thankful that they were able to help with my emergency at such a reasonable cost. I also had them come out the next week to put seals around the garage door and framing so that rain water would stop seeping into garage and critters would stay out. My garage door is now sealed up perfectly and no water coming in any more! Cindy

Absolutely an awesome company and service! I had my garage door replaced in June 2015, and Mr. Cristy was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Despite the heat he was working in, he answered all my questions, showed me how to maintain my new garage door, and made sure everything was in place, level, and working properly! The staff set an appointment that worked with my busy schedule and was prompt. The service tech called before he left for my house to ensure I would be there! Joel and Kolby came out to install new garage doors. The man who did all the gram work had did it wrong. Jowl was willing to come back Sunday if necessary. That was not needed. Got the problem fixed and Joel and Kolby came back around 2pm and installed two new doors by 5pm. Was enjoyable to Talk with them while they worked. Seamed link they were happy with their jobs and loved their work will highly recommend them to anyone needing garage door repair or new doors.

Loren was incredible. Came to the rescue quickly and worked beyond just what was "wrong" with the door - he actually redid the whole thing because it was previously installed incorrectly. Plus other creative approaches to my old garage. Excellent person and excellent work. Recommend highly!

My garage door locked up Friday night so I was anxious to find someone so my car would not sit out all weekend. I prefer local run business because I believe you just get better service. I found Capital City Garage doors by chance. I called the office at 8:15 Saturday morning and spoke with Warren who is the owner. I do not know about garage doors so I gave him the wrong specifications. When Micheal the technician showed up promptly and determined what was wrong with the door but because i had given Warren the wrong specifications Michael told me he would swing back with the right part. I was impressed with his professionalism and how he explained why the door had a problem. He also told me despite all the extra effort they would still honor the original quote. I found the experience very pleasant.

I would highly recommend this company. I was leaving for an appointment and my garage door got stuck and wouldn't close and was hanging crooked. I was fortunate enough to find their website and when I saw all the stars, I thought well, that's a good sign. Loren answered my phone call and was here within a couple of hours (same day service). He was fast, efficient and explained everything that happened and what needed to be done in detail. It was so great to find someone who you felt was honest and had integrity. I was about to run an errand when my garage door opener broke. The spring broke & a bolt from the door hinge went flying across the garage. I had no idea who to call & no time to shop around. I found Capital City in the yp, took a chance & called. I couldn't believe that Loren was at my house in Bastrop in about an hour! He installed a new opener (my old one was from the 80's) , a new spring & fixed the door hinge. I definitely made the right call & would highly recommend Capital City. Well I had trouble with my garage door opener. After spending some time to figure it out I gave it up. I called Lauren and he was very quick and showed up on time (which I care most about :-)).



Lauren replaced it very quickly and charged me very reasonable amount compare to some quotes I got from other companies. He was very good in talking and he knows garage door work very well :-).

My garage doors were improperly installed, and I had a door closing failure. I called Capital City. On a Sunday, they fixed the door, fixed how the door was hung, and added a secondary opener for my third bay. Reliable and professional comes to mind, and will recommend to all my friends and neighbors.

My two year old Craftsman opener failed due to a power surge. Loren, the owner, was at my house outside of Bastrop within a couple of hours after I called. Installed a new opener, tuned up the door, and cleaned up the mess in a little over an hour. Very knowledgeable and professional. There's no hesitation in my recommendation!

Loren, the owner, showed up on time and quickly went to replacing the spring, he even corrected installation problems the builder had caused as well as set my automatic garage door opener to the proper settings. I used Capital City Garage Doors to evaluate a problem I was having with my door, and am I glad I found them. Loren is very knowlegeable about his business, quoted me what I feel was a very fair price, and could replace my opener right then. Capital City Garage Doors has maintained our garage door for years. They have been friendly, quick, reliable, and effective. During the latest visit, Loren, owner and technician, showed us that our 28-year-old Windsor door was near the end of the trail. We bought a new Mid-America door and Lift Master opener. Loren did the installation. He was punctual, worked fast, did a neat job, answered our questions, and was helpful in all respects. The new equipment is great. We will certainly stay with Capital City Garage Doors in the future.
