Bright Beginnings Mission: To offer a developmentally appropriate early childhood education program that meets the needs of the whole child and encourages the power of play. The curriculum respects both the age and the individual needs of each child. We provide a safe, healthy learning environment that will advance your child's physical, intellectual competence, communication and creativity. Social and emotional development is encouraged to nurture self-esteem, social responsibility and pro-social skills. Bright Beginnings has been independently owned and established in the community for 23 years. Bright Beginnings provides: • A blend of teacher-initiated and child self-directed activities. • Weekly themes that integrates art, music and movement, cooking, math, science, health and much more. * Weekly communication through thematic lesson plans e-mailed to both parents detailing the subject matter, materials used and the purpose of the activity for both morning and afternoon curriculum. *Outdoor activities are consistently provided both morning and afternoon. Bright Beginnings provides an all day, year round independent preschool program. Ideal for working parents and for preparation to be enrolled in an all day Kindergarten program. Hours of operation: 7:45 - 5:30 Low child to teacher ratio - 1:8 with a daily class size of 16. Ages 2 to 5 are accepted. My assistants that work with me are very warm, friendly and knowledgeable. Children accept who are not toilet trained. 30 years experience as a preschool teacher both in Oregon and Colorado. Excellent references (see website).
