Fencing comes in all shapes, sizes and colors. It also comes in varying qualities, depending on what materials are selected and who does the install. We at Borg Fence & Decks pride ourselves on using the best materials possible. Every purchase made by the president of the company is checked for quality control when it arrives at the yard. Each foreman is allowed to make decisions in the field as to what goes up on the fence - a rarity in the industry. We use quality materials installed by trained professionals at a reasonable price. Every time. There is a reason that Borg Fence & Decks has so many repeat customers and so many new customers via referral, and that reason is that we do what we say we're going to do when we say we are going to do it. And we do it very well. Extend your outdoor living space!!! Living in California has its advantages, just ask anyone who has lived back east! In California, we have the luxury of being able to enjoy time with our family & friends outdoo rs. For the majority of the year the weather permits us to sit with friends, relax, barbeque, read, or whatever, comfortably. The "comfortably" part of the equation makes a deck an excellent value for your home. In fact, Remodeling Magazine's 2005 Cost vs. Value Report stated that up to 90.3 percent of the cost of the deck is recovered when the house is sold. In some areas of the country it is over 100.

-Arbors / Trellises - If you live in the Sacramento area, then you know about the summers here. You need to have shade if you want to enjoy the outdoors. Arbors and trellises are an excellent way to keep "cooler" in the summer heat. They are also great for adding architectural flavor to your home. At Borg Fence & Decks we also build arbors and trellises. Our carpenters are skilled with their tools and take great pride in their work. We can implement virtually any set of plans you or your architect may have. If you are not sure of what you want, let us help you with your concept and design. -Retaining Walls - All of our retaining walls are built using pressure treated lumber, unless you specify that you want redwood (if you plan to plant food products in the area). Posts are 4x4, 4x6 or 6x6. Many times a combination of 4x4 and 4x6 posts are used. We use 2x12 pressure treated boards to hold back the dirt. We also offer a complete drain system for your retaining wall using three o r four inch perforated schedule 40 pipe, or corrugated drain pipe. Both systems incorporate filter/weed fabric and 1 1/2" drain rock.
