Our move 9/2015, resulted in at least 50% of our shipment damaged, lost and showed clear evidence of tampering.
Bekins does as they wish and offer no explanations as to events or decisions made when asked. The consumer is left limited ways of resolving business with Bekins, when inquiries, or explanations go unanswered. All requests, fall on deaf ears, closed eyes, and sealed mouths. The three little monkeys often used to refer to “those who deal with impropriety by turning a blind eye”.
During our unfortunate dealings with Bekins, our concerns became not just for ourselves, but for those that do not have the benefit or knowledge on how to challenge such unscrupulous dealings. A simple review on the internet offers numerous complaints and suits. Consumers that seek endorsement are looking for security and trustworthiness, especially during life altering transitional events. By way of any endorsement of Bekins one would be "trustingly leading the prey to the predators".

The worst military move ever!! Substandard customer service to deceptive business practice to a turely last minute notice for delivery. I never had this kind of worst customer service during my 18 years of service to our country. Every time I transferred, I had pretty good moving companies with pleasurable experiences. Mr. Mike Chandler asked me if I wanted the update on the status and he promised to call me back at noon time in Arizona time, perhaps he did not know that we had three hours time difference and but he did not call me back, ergo, I missed my lunch time. I called back, he was conveniently in the meetings. What really bothered me was his attitude, he did not have same sense of urgency nor the compassion towards my need. My son is on his mattress because his bed is in Ohio since they cannot seem to find a driver. I do not want my son to go through this because this move was not by his choice but my obligation to the military. If they are in distribution business, they should be able to find a way to accomodate people's need, even if they cannot, they should not make any empty promises or have a deceptive business practice. Mike Chandler perhaps needs to take a business relations 101 to enhance his customer service skills.

This is our second time moving with Wheaton Van lines,
both times cross country and both times we were very
satisfied. Wayne, our driver was very helpful and went
above and beyond our expectations. Wheaton is a
professional and competitively priced company to use. I
wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them
to friends and family.

We used Wheaton to relocate us from Florida to California. They were the most professional, reliable, careful and economical moving company we've ever used. We had 6 different meetings or appointments with Wheaton personnel and all 6 showed up on time and prepared. Amazing. Our goods arrived in California on time and in perfect condition. The driver was a pro, as was everyone at Wheaton. Surprisingly, they were also very competitive on pricing. A first class company and team!

My grandmother recently moved from South Bend, Indiana to St. Augustine, Florida. Not your typical move for someone of her age. Wheaton did an excellent job. The movers were on time, courteous, and answered all of our questions. It was a great experience and we would not hesitate to recommend Wheaton.
