HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! NEVER rent books from Barnes & Noble!!!! They charged me a late fee for books that I returned with their printing tracking label for UPS. I tried to track down the tracking number for UPS and when I tried to pull the return label with the tracking number from Barnes & Nobles website, it created a brand new label. So I was unable to get the tracking number for 3 books that I returned to Barnes & Nobles warehouse. Needless to say they don't have a tracking system for their books or for their tracking labels. UPS stated that the originator of the label (Barnes & Noble) would have to call and place a lost package case. I called Barnes & Nobles customer service and spoke with Shawn, Rebecca and also Lasarey. They said they would NOT call UPS to start a case. So I was going to go to a UPS store to try and start one. Less than 24 hours from speaking with Barnes & Nobles customer service, they automatically charged my credit card $248.70, without my consent for a purchase of all 3 books.
Book stores are dangerous for me in the same way that Target is dangerous. And I always seem to forget that I don't have hours and hours and hours to read anymore.
I'm so impressed with this stores events that are taking place. They have events for my children nearly every weekend. My daughter is attending their Fancy Nancy Tea Party this next weekend. It gives our family something to do often while being surrounded by knowledge! I recommend to all!
