I actually went to and graduated from this school let me start with if you want your hair bleached do NOT go here they use old methods (no heat) which doesn't give you a nice blonde gives you orange or yellow I always hated when someone came in that wanted bleach because I knew it wouldn't turn out hair colors are cheapen old fade quickly never the color you want there's a man instructor there that double dips in the wax so don't get a wax you don't know what's all in there don't do a body wrap cause no one seems to know the right way to do it it's good for a haircut exp for five bucks good for eyelashtabbing if you want your makeup done you can for get it they don't really teach it even though you pay for it good for perms now let me go on and say if you want to attend this school don't go to the other one even though they cost a little more this school charts you out of money you don't really get a lot of education for what you pay you don't get to experiment they cheat you on money so you end up paying so much out of pocket they don't really care about your feelings they will call you out in class just to make fun of you the old lady teacher with glasses I could go on and on about her she's not nice offends everyone thinks she's better than everyone and they pick favorites if you have a problem don't call corporate they don't care seriously go to academy of salon and spa or any other school you will hateful here

Let me start by saying...I know it was stupid to go to a beauty college to get my hair done but I went in there for an eyebrow wax and really liked the girl. When I couldn't get in touch with my regular girl, I decided to give this girl a try. I have two-toned hair, blonde on top, red on bottom. I wanted a highlight and trim. Long story short...the little girl MELTED MY HAIR!! I understand that can happen and I tried not to panic. She had to cut off ALOT of hair to try her best to get rid of the melted hair. Did a deep conditioner...my hair still looks a bit like a cotton ball. That's not the worst part...the woman instructor along with one of the owner's sons came over and told me that they would waive the fee for the deep conditioner so I'd only owe $41. I told her I wasn't paying to have my hair melted to which they responded "that's theft of services" and threatened to call the police on me. The owner's son proceeded to insult me saying my hair was fried before I came in. Let me mention that I get at least 2-3 compliments a day on my hair...it was a little dry because I bleach the top, it was far from fried and I typically do the color myself. I have never ended up with melted hair. Ironically, I decided to do highlights on the top because I wanted LESS damage. I ended up calling the police myself when they told me if I left without paying they would get my license number and have me arrested. Turned out....I had to pay...I'll have to take them to small claims court if I want my money back. You can get a messed up hairdo anyplace...it happens, but the way they handled it, unapologetically and insulting is absolutely appalling. NEVER AGAIN...they're HORRIBLE!!!!!
