Been going to Arbetter's since I was little. It's always been consistent and great! The fries are real good (chili/cheese even better) and their chili dogs are YUMMMMMY!! I highly recommend it, and I have never had a bad experience with anything here!
Ronald Mark Arbetter, or as you would lovingly refer to him as,
?Mr. Arbetter?. In any event, I know that Ronnie meant ?a lot? to you, Victoria. And I a-l-s-o know He loved you, ?very much?.
That being said, I would say that ?towards the end?,
y-o-u were his ?reason? for living. After all, he was in great pain and you made him ?smile? through the agony that became his ?everyday life?.
Faithful? How does someone d-e-f-i-n-e faithful. Well, you make sure everyday Ronnie took his meds. Is that faithful? And you would make sure that he ate everyday. Does that sound silly? Then you?ve never known anyone with ?stomach cancer? or ?liver cancer?. Of course, everyone is different. But that sounds pretty awesome to me.
I thank the Lord for that. In some small ways? and in some not-so-small ways? I?m better for having known him.
Your friend, Jeff
Ronnie, you were kind hearted and generous to everyone that you met?
But to me, you were more than that. You were simply the most remarkable man I?ve ever met. I believe that out of all the people you knew through the years, behind close doors I was the one person you confided in the most. We shared lots of time together especially, the last year of your life. It was a very difficult and traumatic time for you, and I thank God, that I was there for you. I never wanted to leave your side, the last month before you passed only God knows how much misery and anguish I went through.
I still miss you tremendously and even to this day, I find it hard living without you. You were everything to me Mr. Arbetter. You were an excellent man to me, treated me like a lady, and I always admired how very well spoken you were. The vision I have of you will remain vivid. You always tried to teach me different things, and I always appreciated your wisdom, because you used good-judgment. You are definitely ""One of a kind"".
From Victoria Dacosta
Feb 28th will always stand-out in our memories because it is the date of your passing. We would like to first begin by extending a most-sincere ?Thank you? for being such a great friend and truth-be-known, a role-model to both of us. Jeff & I think alike in many ways and we both acknowledge how great of an athlete you were. For me, Victoria, I remember watching you play basketball with some teenage students at Southwest High School? I must say that it was obvious to me that you were the best player on the court. And Jeffrey can attest to that.As a result of your influence and example, Jeffrey was able to walk on and make the basketball team at the University of South Florida Jeff and I reminisce and laugh and even share a few tears at all the fond memories we carry of you, Mr. Arbetter.I would also like to say that I know that Jeffrey was your best friend growing up and it?s so beautiful and comforting to me to know that. You continue to live in both of our hearts, and for that reason: we find it difficult to find closure. That?s indicative of how much you meant to us. For me (Jeff) The fact that Ronnie, Bob and Phyllis allowed me to be a part of Arbetters was a privilege and a truly, precious memory that will always brings tears of joy to my eyes. A-l-l of these memories will be treasured ?. Partly because they are such a good example of how thoughtful he was. We love you dearly, Rest In peace Ronnie?Your best friends: Victoria & Jeffrey Please Visit Ronnie's Legacy Website personal Id 104729090

I graduated SW High with Ronnie in 1973. We were like brothers, the best of friends. I was raised on those tasty steamed dogs that Mr. Arbetter (senior) had perfected. The best Chili Dogs in Miami !!! It was great to eat there everyday and enjoy Mr. Arbetter's sense of humor and loving personality. He was the ultimate Boston/ New England sports fan. None fiercer or more dedicated than him. Mr. Arbetter and Ronnies mom Phyllis, were like second parents to friends like Norm Heindrich, David Marine, Doug Kirk, Arnold Abreu, Royce Green, and myself. The Arbetter Family and the restaurant are Miami landmark institutions and I honor them as such. The Velasco family in Las Vegas, NV. send their greetings, love, and respect to Ronnie, Jill, David, and the rest of the Arbetter clan. Ronnie come to Vegas soon, I'll show youse the time of your life!! Forever friends!! Ronnie, I'm gonna get in touch with you, bet on it!!!

I COULD BET MONEY YOU?RE A MANIC-DEPRESSIVE LUNATIC, AND LIVE YOUR LITTLE MISREABLE LIFE WITH A LOW SELF ESTEEM ISSUE, YOU MUST BE A REALLY (DEMANING HUMAN BEING) TO WRITE SUCH A CYNICAL THING. YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO SOCIETY AND TO YOUR SO CALLED GOOD FRIEND?S, I?AM SPEAKING FOR EVERYONE WHEN I SAY TO YOU!
I THINK YOU?LL DO US ALL A FAVOR IF YOU, FIND YOUR SELF ANOTHER HOBBY, INSTEAD OF RUNNING YOUR MOUTH AND LOOKING LIKE A COMPLETE INBECILE & JACK A** . AND FOR THE RECORD, ""JENNOK THE CUCKOO"", WE WOULD APPRECIATE IF YOU KEEP YOU PESSIMISTIC ASSUMPTION ABOUT RONNIE?S WELL BEING TO YOURSELF, BECAUSE WHEN THERE IS WILL POWER THERE IS HOPE. UNLIKE FOR YOUR THERE NO CHANCE NOR CHANGE, YOUR A LOST CASE.
BUT FOR RONNIE, ""What the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve "".

Excuse me Miss,
May I ask what the ""unforeseen circumstances"" are in which the family has had to ?take over? for Ronnie and his business? I have had the pleasure of meeting Ronnie Arbetter 2 years ago and have known his brother and wife very closely for the past 10 years.
Ronnie is terminally ill and from where I sit, it appears that you have taken advantage of a sick man and tried to get whatever ?cash? or ?material? item you could get from a sick man who was not always in the ?clearest state of mind?. My heart goes out to Ronnie and I want him to know how proud I am to have met a man of his stature and I am so very glad his brother Dave is now with him to ensure that no other person such as you can ever try to take advantage of a man and his family in his final days.
You should be so ashamed of what you have and are still trying to do to this man who only ever helped you more than you ever deserved.
I feel very sorry for you to then send a ?blog? or email to other innocent people who don?t even know the true situation. You and your family have tried to take his home and car and everything else = who would ever tell you that you would own the Arbetter Business that has been in the Arbetter Family since 1959.
We were taken to Arbetter Hotdog?s on our first trip to Florida and let me let everyone know ? that family has love and a wonderful secret recipe on what makes a restaurant stay in business for many years and ?successfully? when there are so many chains taking over: the recipe is love and support for each other.
They do not need you or anyone of your nature to publish information such as you have ? which is personal to the family and at a time in which Ronnie is suffering.
My heart is with Ronnie to have had to deal with you.

I have been in Miami since 1991 and the hot dogs that they serve are the best. Their chili cheese fries beat all other. There works hot dogs are to die for. You know their food is good, when there is a line outside to get inside. I highly recommend them!!!!
