What struck me first about Apex was their professionalism and friendly demeanor.
Not often anymore do you find service professionals who have a great attitude, are competent, can explain how your system works without being in a rush and are not bothered by questions.
I used Apex to turn on and winterize my system, replace broken sprinkler heads, put in a drip irrigation system and install landscape lighting.
At each service appointment they were on time, efficient, knowledgeable and stayed true to the prices that they quoted me beforehand.
Overall, a terrific experience with this company.
APEX/Dave Hopper - it's on camera. Stay away from my property. You've provided no explanation for trying to charge $450 after an hour when nothing was diagnosed or repaired. Then you want to charge $1400 - in addition to the $450 - to install a new zone - where a zone already exists. Wow. Predatory and Greedy. What's a customer not to like?
And Rude. You've written three snotty messages trying to justify predatory behavior and make it my fault. Why wouldn't I stand up for myself as a consumer. That's what is called for when people who call themselves "professionals" are acting in a predatory and greedy manner.
An actual professional doesn't take the easy and greedy path by quadrupling the cost and trying to pass it onto the customer for repairs they won't explain.
Your responses are what might be expected when someone's trying to divert the conversation from the actual issue of OVERCHARGING.
The true character of a business person is shown during these types of situations. Reputable companies are accountable and understand how to turn a mishandled event into a win-win situation. Scammers are defensive, resort to bratty behavior, and blame others to divert attention and to avoid taking responsibility for their actions. Take your sarcastic well-wishing and keep it for yourself.

Here at Apex, we have a ZERO tolerance policy for putting up with that type of behavior. Our customers who treat our technicians with patience, respect, and professionalism get the most out of our services. We will you luck in finding the contractor that will put up with your poor behavior and attitude.

Christie, Thanks for your review. Unfortunately your problem is not a cheap and easy fix. Some problems take diagnosing, troubleshooting and sprinkler detective work in order to figure out your problem, which you declined to take advantage of. We don't appreciate you trying to micromanage our professional and qualified technicians who are trying to help resolve your problem. If you want a cheap easy fix, call a cheap unprofessional company. If you are looking for a professional company that wants to help fix your problem right the first time we are the company you are looking for. We are not the cheapest company in town, nor or we the most expensive. You get what you pay for. I have been a customer of Apex Irrigation for a couple of years and fan.
The scheduling process is online and very easy to set up in advance. I use it to winterize and then set up before the summer.
Sasha is my favorite MMA Sprinkler guy, he does great work, is very friendly/professional, and trustworthy.
I highly recommend them.
Finally a service professional I can use FOREVER! I can t say enough about Dave and his people. As a service professional myself, I am fickle about people doing what they say they will do, being prompt, going out of their way to impress all while giving a fair price. Apex has always (3 years now) come through! I ve had Apex install a new sprinkler system, turn my system on and off for the seasons and repair my sump pump line. I implore you to give these folks your business, they genuinely appreciate it.
Dave Hopper has helped me out for the last few years on both of my properties in Denver. I've found him to be incredibly dependable, always on time, never forceful when sharing my options and above all else, he does quality work. I contacted several irrigation companies and Apex was the most responsive. Dave reviewed my current system and told me all my options. I decided on a new system and he and his crew did a wonderful, very efficient job. Dave continued to check the system and even replaced the solar sensor when he felt it wasn't working. He gave me great information on how to apply for a rebate and has continued to give excellent service. Apex Irrigation gave incredible service, great products, and a fair price. I highly recommend Apex Irrigation!
I had a leak in my valve manifold, tried to fix it myself and cracked the whole manifold! A friend recommended Apex Irrigation and Dave came promptly and fixed the problem. He was prompt, communicative, knowledgeable and charged a fair dollar for fair work. I have since recommended him to two friends and anyone else who needs sprinkler work!
My system was installed by a previous homeowner and is kind of a cluster. Dave looked it over and explained all the advantages and disadvantges associated with it. He didn't like the set up but explained what he would do in the future if anything more needed service. I didn't feel any pressure by him to do any additional work and he did a great job and prices were very reasonable. I'll definitely call him back when my system begins to deteriorate.
