The guy is very friendly. He did his profession job very well. He arrived early less than 40 minutes. It took him only a minute to pop my locked car to unlocked the door. I like his service. I will recommend anybody to American Local Locksmith in The Area.

Tom is honest and affordable about his pricing, prompt to appointments, intelligent, fun to chat with while he works, and you can just tell is a sincere, nice, really good guy.

He's one of the few businesses I recommend without hesitation (and sometimes without even prompting) to anyone I know who's just moved into a new place or is having any kind of lock issue. He's done two units and the main doors in my building so far, and is the go-to guy for me with any lock / door / security issues.

Danny was very friendly, came on time, laid out our options and made recommendations, but was not at all pushy and did not haggle the price, unlike other sketchy locksmiths I've had before. Our car key broke off in the ignition this morning. I saw that American Local Locksmith had gotten great reviews online & gave them a call. The assistant took my info & said that Paul would call right back which he did 2 minutes later. He said he'd be at my location in approx 25 to 30 mins. He was there in 25 mins (which was great because the temp was starting to drop & all I had on was a light coat).

Henrry went right to work and was successful in removing the broken part of the key from my car's ignition. He was very polite & professional and I would highly recommend him to everyone!

I dreaded finding a locksmith to install a deadbolt on my new apartment until I found American Local Locksmith online yesterday afternoon, with glowing Online reviews and a modern web presence. He completely lived up to his positive reputation, and I will recommend him to everyone I know, and keep his number in my cell phone in case I'm ever locked out at 4am.

Mike was available to come to me within hours of my call, and promptly e-mailed me a Paypal invoice for the price of the deadbolt as advertised on his website. He arrived at the scheduled time, and had the deadbolt installed within minutes.

I can't recommend him highly enough, especially compared to every other shady locksmith I've encountered in the city.

We just moved to the area and need to get a new lock for our place. So we scheduled an appointment on Saturday with Jeffy. He shows up on time asked us to pick a lock we want and starts working on it. Everything went smoothly and he finishes within 30 mins. Right after, we went out.

Come 1 o'clock in the morning we come back home and we can not open the door. Called Jaffrey and did a quick Q&A then said he would be on his way. Come 20 mins later he's work on my lock. He finally got in, and finds out that the the key frame on the door was a hack job that's why it was interfering with the lock. So he grind it down for us and tried to make as little noise as possible to be considerate to our neighbors. After a good hour of work, he finally fixed the problem and he apologized to us that this situation happened (which wasn't his fault) and just walked away! Didn't even ask for any money. That's the type of service Jeffry provides.

It was a very good experience, Jeffry is extremely polite, and the prices were very reasonable too.

Called American Local Locksmith to have my deadbolt changed. 15 minutes later, Mike, a friendly, honest, and helpful guy arrived at my door. Mike explained that my door wasn't in great shape, and actually convinced me to buy a cheaper lock than the one I originally requested. 5 minutes later, the new lock was installed.

If you've ever dealt with other locksmiths, you may have felt pressured to buy something you didn't need. That won't happen with these guys. They're honest, and the feeling that you weren't put through the wringer is priceless.

I needed a new lock. I called American Local Locksmith and could not have made a better choice. It is great to find an honest and capable locksmith. Joel arrived on time and did a great job. A real 5 star experience.

These people are not locksmiths! They are referral services. These kinds of services usually sign up anyone who claims to be a locksmith. They charge the "locksmith" a fee for providing the call. So the charge to you will be grossly inflated! This service probably isn't even in Ohio!

I truly wish I did not have to give this company 1 star because they don't deserve it. I called and scheduled a 10 appointment and the technician called me to say he was going to be early but he was 30 minutes late. I was locked out and needed rekeys on a mobile home that a renter had vacated the property. The "locksmith" could not get in. He called for back up (Lock Out guy) that showed up two hours later. I called twice complaining to the customer service who told me she didn't sent the lock out guy because I only told her I could not get in and needed rekeyed. I tried to explain to the incompetent operator that it being locked out and not able to get in means the same thing. These two guys still couldn't get in. It was after 2:30 pm before they got in the mobile home. But they tore my door up in the process. See photos. When my son in law came to relieve me to go home as I was fed up because he still had not finished and it was 5:30 pm. So at that point I snapped and called the company back. I insisted on speaking to a supervisor "Logan" and told him what had happened and he offered me 25% off and hooked me up with someone to pay. I asked to speak to Logan again because I wanted him to see the damage to my door and emailed photos where you can look in the door around the bolt lock and see the mechanism of the lock. So now I will have to buy a new door because now even with a new lock it is not secure. It is 8 pm the guy who clearly is not a locksmith is still there and unable to rekey the back door. The key will lock it if you turn it a few times outside but it won't lock from the inside. So my back door is not secured either. They offered me 25% off for my trouble which leaves a balance of $225. So far I have not given them money because the people they send are incompetent and they are not not locksmiths. He has been on the job for 3 days and he has has never done any type of work as a locksmith prior!! Whatever you do, call someone else. They are not locksmiths!!!

Being locked out is such experience but American Locksmith Service have the key to making you feel so much better: empathy, kindness, quickness and just overall being awesome and at a great price too!

I just moved to a new place and I noticed that previous tenant had been coming back to get his mail. So I figured why not change the mailbox lock and also get the locks to my door re-keyed. The mailbox lock was easy to swap out by myself. But for the re-keying I needed a pro. I checked Online and the only one I found around me with reputable ratings was American Local Locksmith.

I called in the morning while waiting for cable guy (who was late as expected) and sure enough they had availability for late afternoon and gave me a fixed price for the job. Dave said he could be there around 5:30 or 6. Fine by me. I get a call from Dave at 4:30 saying he can make it even earlier. Great!!! He shows up at 4:45. The work was quick despite problems with my fancy Omnia locks. He gets the job done and I'm good to go. He even grinded the deadbolt hole to make the lock easier to turn. Great service and I'll be sure to contact them anytime for any locksmith services.

When the front door lock to my business totally broke, my business partner immediately said, ""We're not going to use those people who leave a million business cards in our door all the time."" Those people are super annoying and don't deserve our business!

So we went to Online and found American Local Locksmith with all of their good reviews, submitted our inquiry through the website and got a call shortly after. We scheduled an appointment for the next day, and Edwardo came by to check things out. He was very honest and very helpful, and while we expected it would be hundreds of dollars (to revamp our entire lock and door system) it was only $175. We were thrilled!

Then Scott came by the next day to finish everything up, he was very respectful of customers who were going in and out, and really worked fast. We are so happy with our new lock - we'd recommend them to any business! (Or residence, or whatever lock you need fixed.) They're the best in the city!
