This is such a courteous and professional operation that has some of the best prices my hubby and I have seen in the city when it comes to emergency situations. We were lucky and had Gorge come to our rescue. What a sweet, courteous and considerate individual. He humored us with the type of lock we needed and re-keyed them to try and save us additional money. I always like working with a small business who is looking out for its customers. I'm hoping we dont get locked ""in"" again but if we do, these will be our go to peeps.

Bottom line: Henry is a top-notch locksmith who was polite, timely, and highly knowledgeable Locksmith Company. From the first phone inquiry to the professional completion of the lock change, the service was impeccable and the price was right.

We have hired his Locksmith Company twice now and I cannot more confidently recommend a locksmith for both residential and commercial properties. The first time we requested services fromAmerican Local Locksmith was when we moved into our new apartment the previous tenant moved out and didn't leave the deadbolt key, thanks. Moderate Google searching, American Local Locksmith simple and clear website, and a quick phone call with Danny confirmed that he was by far the most promising of all the locksmiths around the area. Danny arrived at our apartment early the next day and confirmed that we didn't need a top lock change - a cylinder change was sufficient enough and saved us over $50.

After our business was broken into a couple weeks ago, I immediately recommended American Local Locksmith to our office manager. His professionalism was as good as I remembered it: He was at our office within a couple hours and quickly had all the locks changed out at the prices quoted on his website, which were - again - by far better than any competitor. Our office manager, even in her chaotic state, was so impressed with his friendliness that she sent his contact information around the entire office.

I wouldn't want to need to call a locksmith again, but should something happen in the future, Danny will be the guy I go to!!!

I recently contacted American Local Locksmith about replacing some locks in my office. After setting a time of 3pm, Max contacted me by text message to let me know he was nearby and was available to meet a little earlier. Right off the bat I was impressed by how professional and considerate he was of my time.

Once at our office, Max did an assessment on our locks and gave us very solid advice on the best replacement options. We set a follow up appointment for the next morning and he arrived promptly at 11am to start the job. Max replaced 3 locks in under an hour and was kind enough to go over the keys and how each of the locks were installed for the best and safest usage. I'm very happy with the work American Local Locksmith performed and they are completely deserving of a 5 Star rating!

I found American Local Locksmith through Online and it was easily the best experience I've had with a locksmith so far in my life. Fellow named Scott showed up right on time and did a fantastic job leaving me with a better lock that was more well installed than I'd had before. It was a more labor intensive job than it could have been and he did the work admirably and I was charged the same rate discussed from the start. I cant envision having a better experience with a locksmith really, and I would recommend American Local Locksmith to anyone I know who would need a locksmith.

This was one of the only sites that quotes prices upfront - check. Dan presented options w/ no pressure - check. He does the job w/ a smile & a sense of humor - check. The service is top notch & that's what what matters the most.

i needed a deadbolt installed on my door and Jay was very helpful in choosing the right one for me without pressuring me towards the more expensive options. I made an appointment to have it installed that day but a couple hours after the agreed upon time I called to find out what had happened. Dave was extremely apologetic and got to the bottom of the problem right away. Turns out the guy that was supposed to install it had to go to the hospital! Can't be mad at a guy that literally couldn't make it to my apt. Nevertheless Jay told to pick anytime and he would personally install it, plus 50% off to make up for the missed appointment. The next day he was on time, friendly, efficient, and considerate.I will use them again. American Local Locksmith The Best In Town!!!!

Mike was very pleasant, on time, and got the job done in about 15 minutes! i couldn't recomend these guys enough!!!

I moved in to a walkup from a doorman elevator buildling, and i needed the cylinder of my top lock changed, i opted for the high security lock (I wasn't pressure at all to spend the extra money on one of these) and i'm happy i did! I needed a new deadbolt in my door and found this place online. They had great availability for the install and were right on time literally arrived at 2 PM on the dot. Scott did the installation and went over my options without trying to up sell me. He explained which deadbolt was the best for my kind of door, existing lock and type of building and then quickly went to work. An hour later it was done and now I have a shiny new lock, two new keys and a better sense of security.

The guy who came to help me out from American Local Locksmith only left me waiting like 20 minutes even though when I called he was on the UES. He was so nice and popped the door open in a jiffy for a flat rate of... wait for it... 49 bucks. that's kind of amazing. he even fixed my door so that I never automatically get locked out again. Huzzah!!!

I called American Local Locksmith Avi came out and undid my lock in like ten minutes.

American Local Locksmith has a 5-star rating for a reason. I called them this morning to rekey two doors in my house, and they were able to send a locksmith within the hour. The person answering the phone was very polite and helpful, and it was very easy to set up my appointment and get my questions answered. John was the locksmith that arrived, and he was polite, knowledgable, and worked very quickly and efficiently.

Seriously, this was absolutely a five-star experience. I'm really glad that these are the folks i called.

It was 1 am on a Sunday night, my date and I were coming home from a show , and my keys were sitting on my kitchen table. Oops. Called American Local Locksmith and Ben showed up in a half hour (I'm not joking - we hadn't even finished our beers at the dive bar on the corner.)

He was professional, not creepy, and didn't make me feel stupid for locking my keys out. I live in a building with really tricky doors, and although luckily a neighbor buzzed me in downstairs, Ben was willing to try the outer doors (even though they were likely impossible.) He got my into my apartment in no time.

Wow, just wow.

Had to update this - a couple nights after Mike fixed the cylinder lock, I had trouble getting in (turns out my door and inside lock needed to be replaced). I called Mike to see if he could assist. I was eventually able to get myself in, but Mike still insisted on coming by to see if there was any further adjustments he could make.

He eventually replaced the entire inside lock with a spare (which he didnt' have to do), made some adjustments to how the lock hits my door frame and didn't charge me anything for his time in doing this. Let me stress that Mike had already fixed the cylinder lock the first time; this extra work was his awesome and generous service in full effect.

I cannot remember the last time I had service this great. American Local Locksmith are the BEST!!!!

After calling a dozen different locksmiths in the area, I was giving up hope that I would find a place that would install a lock at a reasonable price.

Enter American Local Locksmith. I found this place online and boy is there a reason for all those 5 star reviews. From the second I was on the phone with Tommy I had nothing but a great experience. Tommy was supremely friendly and answered all my questions with nothing but the utmost patience. Best part? He was able to come to my apartment the same day and only gave me an hour's timeframe (unlike every other company in the area that tells you you have to wait around all day only to never show up).

Tommy arrived at the top of that hour's timeframe and did the job in less than 10 minutes, even offering to sweep up after the job was done. He was very professional and so nice that I have no doubt I'll only call American Local Locksmith if I ever need help with a lockout or any other lock related problem!
