General Info: LICENSED & INSURED - REASONABLE RATES... American Chimney Services was established in 2001 by John Dotson. John is a retired firefighter from Springfield, Missouri. He felt that he was too young to really retire and decided to open his own business. Since his working career was in Public Safety (he also spent time as a Police Officer in Springfield) John felt becoming a Chimney Sweep would allow him the freedom of his own business along with continuing to use his training in Public Safety. John didn't want to get involved in selling equipment so he chose to focus on service.
Services/Products: Inspections - Chimney Cleaning - Repairs - Stainless Steel Relining - Flue Caps - Masonry Work - Water Sealing - Liners -- Inspections: Also known as condition reports, fireplace inspections, or inspection reports. Cleaning: Also known as chimney cleanings, chimney sweeps, fireplace sweeps, or fireplace cleanings. Repairs: Also referred to as fireplace smoke in house, and chimney smoke problems. Liners: Also known as fireplace liners, flue liners, chimney flues, or flexible chimney liners.
