        BEWARE

        Beware of this company and Gary Beale. After using his alarm company, American Alarm, for 20+ years, when the system they installed for me (and I have been paying $25/mo. to monitor for all these years) malfunctioned, he left me high and dry. The system dialed their central station every minute for months and incurred $$$$$ of dollars on my long distance bill and no one could figure out what it was. When it was discovered it was there alarm system and the charges were my responsibility, American Alarm said I owned the equipment so I was responsible for the charges. How bad is that?
        I have sinced changed to another company. I have never been treated this unprofessionally in my life.

        This company is run by thieves. they appear to be a good upstanding business on the outside but I assure you THEY ARE THIEVES! they will sue you and tell lies to win their case, a big part of their business is taking their own customers to court. i used them for three years,I was told my contract was only two, after three years i tried to cancel but it turns out they had lied to me and it was a 5 year contract. they took me to court for the extra two years that I refused to pay, the actual alarm system I used was not supplied by them, it was owned by me and they only activated it. in court they lied and told the judge it was theirs and that I never paid for it. LIE! i asked the judge to have them produce a invoice for this system. turns out they have this judge in their pocket and he ignored my request just ruled in their favor. I had to pay close to $2000.00 for equipment that they did not supply. THEY ARE THIEVES. turns out they work with this judge all the time. he does not care if your a victim or not. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! they steal from the ones they claim to protect. pure evil!

        Beware of this company. I used them for 25 years and when my system malfunctioned and incurred $$$$$ on my phone line because it dialed their central station over and over again, they left me high and dry and said I owned the equipment (that I had bought from them!!!) and they had no responsibility for the charges I incurred. Very unethical. I have gone with another alarm company who is much more professional and reputable

        I have had American Alarm install a security system in the last 2 homes I have lived in. Both in Mission Viejo. I could not have been more satisfied with the installation and quality of the system. My family and I felt safe at night and know that our home is protected when we are away. David W. the security consultant was very experienced and designed a system that suited our life style and budget. When I opened my new business both David W. and Gary came to meet with me and suggested ways to maximize the protection and keep costs down. It's been over 10 years since I first called them from a yellow page ad. Since then I have recommended them to friends and neighbors. I've never heard a complaint from anyone. Keep up the great work.

        BAD BAD customer service from the office.



        American Alarm Systems in Santa Ana, CA has terrible... no, the worst ever customer service. Over and over again for the last two months I have requested their employee "Jessica" to call me back in reference to my contract. She never ever calls back. Everytime I call I am put into her voice mail.. I ask for her to please call me back.. leaving my account and phone number... she is a bad asset to the company... I will recommend my peers to NOT use AAS.

        Horrible Customer Service

        American Alarm Systems in Santa Ana, CA has terrible... no, the worst ever customer service. Over and over again for the last two months I have requested their employee "Jessica" to call me back in reference to my contract. She never ever calls back. Everytime I call I am put into her voice mail.. I ask for her to please call me back.. leaving my account and phone number... she is a bad asset to the company...         I would highly recommend. American Alarm provided the best service. They were on time, courteous and very competitively priced. I recommend them to one of my church friends and they were equally impressed and received the same excellent service.
