Back in 1868, Captain W.A. Roosevelt founded the La Crosse company as a small steamfitters shop, with boats and mills as his first customers. Soon, the company became known as a wholesaler of wrought iron pipe and fittings, brass goods, and engine trimmings, pumps, and mills supplies. Now, W.A. Roosevelt Company is a leading distributor of quality plumbing, electric, refrigeration, heating and air conditioning equipment and supplies. Headquartered in La Crosse, Wisconsin, W.A. Roosevelt serves Wisconsin, southeastern Minnesota, northeastern Iowa, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and has four Wisconsin branch locations in Madison, New Berlin, Plover, and, Rice Lake. In 2010, W.A. Roosevelt Company is celebrating 142 years in business.
