Before you schedule an apt. with them, make sure you ask them about all charges! They charge the base charge 89$ just to come to your house and it doesn't include anything so after it even if they do a very small repair like cleaning dust without any replacements, no new parts, your bill will be close to 200$. Not so happy about it because when I had other companies, their base charges did include some small maintenance like cleaning dust, etc... So I just don't see how a dust cleaning can be 100$. Never call them anymore. Can't even imagine what would be the cost if you actually need to fix something with new parts. But on a good note, they did come very quickly, answered all my calls, explained me all charges. No issues with a customer support, they are very good about it.

When my air conditioner malfunctioned after a storm, I called LuQuire during normal business hours and I received excellent phone instructions on how to restart the unit. Unfortunately, the unit malfunctioned on Sunday and a technician returned my call 5 hours after requesting service. I had to call the answering service 3 times before I received the call. When the technician responded to my request, he refused to come. He stated that he had to get some sleep. I called the answering service to request another technician, and I was told that only one technician was on duty. I was instructed to call the office in the morning. In other words, endure the heat during the night and you will receive help during normal business hours, Based upon my experience, LuQuire offers excellent service during their normal business hours. The 24/7 advertisement is false.

I am happy to say that the LuQuire technician called again and stated that he had two cancellations. He was on his way to our house. He was a friendly and courteous young man. He quickly fixed the problem. He stated that he called within 2 hours of our request for service, but there was problem with the phone system. Thank you, LuQuire, for your support. I am changing my rating to a 3.

False Advertisement

Radio/TV commercials state 24/7. However, that only applies to weekdays between the hours 7:30am and 4:30 pm. It esp does not include weekends and holidays. I was sucked in by the commercial but they made every excuse not to come out until Monday morning. I recommend you not fall for it too.



Plumbing Service after 10 pm

I had been fighting a leak from my refrigerator for hours and finally gave up and called Luquire's 24-hour service. They sent a plumber named Greg. I was soooooo glad to see him! I bet it was less than 20 minutes before he had the problem corrected and checked to make sure it was fixed right! Even though $85 seems like a lot to pay, it was worth it for the peace of mind! I was tired of mopping and using a shop vac! Besides, I was starting to run out of towels! :-) Another plumber, that I won't mention, told me they couldn't come, but suggested I turn off the valve on the back of the refrigerator. I even tried that myself, but evidently didn't turn it far enough. Greg explained that it was hard to turn.
