I would give a 0 if I could. We have been waiting in line to pick up our car that we had reserved. When the shuttle dropped us off there was already a huge line that was looped inside and still out of the door. We have another probably 45 minutes to wait in line. At first there was only one employee at the desk. Now there are 3. I called customer service while in line and was told that this is "usual for Advantage" and that there was nothing that I could do- I just need to wait in line. And that I can't cancel my reservation with them. The absolute worst telephone customer service I have ever had in my life. And obviously the worst rental car experience I have ever had in my life. I have never written a review online before, but this experience has been so ridiculously bad that I have to. What else am I going to do while standing in line for 2 hours waiting for my rental car reservation?

Cancellation policy is horribly misleading! Don't let the "you must cancel more than 24 hours in advance or you will be charged a minimum of one day rental charges plus taxes" quoted on their website fool you. You have to slog through all the legal jargon to the very bottom of the page where they hide their 50$ cancellation fee, regardless of situation. Do not use this duplicitous company!

Didn't open on time

I rented a car at the OKC location. Everything was fine until I went to return the car this morning. When I picked up the car Monday I informed them my return flight was 610 am on Thursday. They assured me that they open at 5 am and I had nothing to worry about to get there early so I get on the first shuttle. I got there at 430 am to be sure and waited. At 5 no one was there. I started to worry. I made a call to customer service to ask what I'm supposed to do. He couldn't get a hold of anyone either but assured me that someone should be this point it's nearing 515 and I'm freaking out. A gentleman walked to my car and let's me know he is the shuttle driver and isn't sure where the person opening is but he will take me to the airport in the rental car. His name was Curtis. I have to say he is the only reason I made my flight and also the only reason I don't file a complaint with the BBB. This situation is ridiculous. I understand things happen but when you are in the business of having others rely on your business opening on time to ensure they make connections then you need to employ punctual professional people. I was under impressed with my experience with Advantage with the exception of Curtis and I will not be recommending your company in the future.

Jason and Christi, the managers worked with me on being 1 hour late for car turn-in. It was nice to get the same price quoted, even though I was late.

Rip off

I book my car online so when we get the first car the whole plastic bottom was rubbing against the tires then I take back to get another car some guy name mike gave us a dirty car that smelled like cigarette so we take that car back then finally when we go to check out they was a $200 fee that the girl couldn't explain the manager don't care workers are rude don't waste your time with them

We have rented from this facility at least 10 times a year for the past couple of years and will probably never rent from them again after the way we were treated tonight.

We filled up the car at the same station we always refill Advantage rental cars when we return them and drove 7 miles to Advantage the needle was touching the bottom of the full line the Exact same place it was when we picked it up. 7:30pm They told us they were going charge us for a full tank. We asked to speak to a manager. They called and said he would be there in 10 minutes. We leave and fill up the car less than a half mile away @7:39pm it only took 0.87 gallons. The needle never moved was in the same place. Drove back to Advantage had Chabree look at the gauge in the same place Now she says it is fine we point out needle never moved and it only took 0.87 gallons (showed receipt) no apology no acknowledgement that the needle was in the same EXACT place. The manager Robert finally shows up at 8:05pm half an hour after he was called. He was very rude, would not even let us explain the situation and then proceeds to argue with us and accuse us of not bringing it back full he was extremely combative and dismissive.

I advise everyone to beware if you are thinking of renting from Advantage. Take pictures of the gas gauge when you pick up the car, when you refill to bring it back, and when you arrive to drop it off or you may be paying for a full tank of gas for less than a gallon of gas.
